Assumed CR: of any sort. I'm a slow tagger, and 'hi nice to meet you' threads can get kind of tedious even for the best of us. So if you'd like to just handwave that and jump into an event or wildcard with any of the below already established, I am game.
Negative CR: Look, Qrow goes out of his way to be a jerk and he's a bit of a troll, so no one will be surprised if you hate him. This goes double for haughty, hyper-formal, or cool 'ice queen'/reserved types, his favorite targets. He's also gonna make fun of overbearing edgelords even though he's no stranger to lording edges himself. Alas, he is the sort of guy who overcompensates for his soul-crushing depression by being a little shit, sorry (but also not sorry).
Found family: ...but underneath all that he's a decent guy, so if you somehow get along with him he'll be loyal enough to always have your back in a fight. PLUS, you get an honorary adorable niece! Gets along best with fellow irresponsible and/or Dead Inside™ adults, delinquents with hearts of gold, current or former gangsters, and teenagers. He has a soft spot for kids, so if you need a weird drunk uncle figure in your life, here he is.
Sparring/training shit: Qrow is a swordsman/scythe wielder/marksman who LIEKS TO FITE, sometimes for no reason at all. Canonically he was also a teacher/trainer at a combat school, so if someone needs beginner-level training, he's a good guy to go to. As a RWBY, he can also unlock your character's Aura, which - with training - provides some rudimentary defense, self-healing, and situational awareness skills (at the cost of Chroma for its use). Hmu with talks if you wanna play with this, & happy to explain if you're interested but canonblind!
Drinking buddies: Qrow typically drinks alone while he's doing his Emo Thing but sometimes he just wants to have a good time. Either way, bar run-ins and hookups are likely. Is either Cordis or 3 Moons in effect? Prepare yourself for drinks with little cocktail umbrellas offered alongside disastrously bad pick-up lines.
Casual moonlacing/fuckbuddies: M/M, F, NB or anywhere in between. He ain't picky about the naughty bits (and I am down for xeno, especially failsex xeno where he has no idea what he's doing lmao). Being both Cordis and an Aura user means that he needs lots and lots of Chroma but he'd sooner jump out a window than lovingly hold hands with someone, so let's smash barbies. Handwave/ftb is totally fine but I'm a degenerate so I'll write it out, too.
Mom friends: Is your character a softy with a weakness for sad, grumpy old men who can't take care of themselves? Do they like to clean up or even just popcorn a raging hot mess? Do they have a bad habit of LOVING UNCONDITIONALLY people who don't deserve it, despite their relentless attempts to push them away? Here! is your guy!!
Other cursed people?: Qrow's semblance (RWBY-style superpower) is misfortune, as in bad things tend to happen anywhere in his vicinity and he can't control when, where, or to whom. If that sounds shitty, thats because it is! He has a bit of complex about it after being bullied, ostracized, and treated like a burden for the majority of his childhood, so meeting people in a similar situation who have handled it better (or worse, idc, let's get wild) would be impactful for him.
Future Plans: It would be really amazing for him to meet people who can pry his secrets out of him and demonstrate to him that they can actually accept his companionship? Lasting friendships what are those?? Otherwise everything is very up in the air, Q is just sorta enjoying his mini-retirement from fighting an unwinnable war against a crazy immortal witch, while also throwing himself at every opportunity for reckless danger that presents itself. Smut Preferences: m/m, m/f, or m/nb, Qrow is virtually always dtf. He enjoys strong women and fellow scarred-up warriors, and is kind of maso about it, so if anyone out there wants to rough him up or step all over him I am here for it ??????. No one under 20 tho pls he's old. My kinklist is here and as you can see I'm into most of the usual things, but right now one shouldn't expect much more out of this guy than meaningless hook-ups wherein he will be gone by morning, especially outside of Cordis. During Cordis or 3 Moons he might - might - cuddle a little bit?! which will be awkward for everyone, I'm sure.

Qrow and her had that one thread but I imagine they'd get along- she's usually dealing with headache-inducing friends and looking out for them, so if you're ever interested, we should have them bond a little more! Plus Megumi adores Weiss too, so there's that as well...
That mom friend section describes perfectly all of Tifa's canon male relationships. Qrow come join her dumpsterfire collection of sad and grumpy men. She's totally down with being a drinking buddy as well.

Yeeeeeeep, and Akechi is also the kind of person who's fun to troll, since he gets embarrassed easily and is bad at comebacks when he's caught off guard.
Though, I wonder how Qrow would feel if he found out that the reason Akechi dislikes middle aged men and alcoholics is because his biological father is manipulative, abusive, and an alcoholic despite being an aggressive drunk...he tries to pass it off as disgust, but there's genuine fear there.

Bah, bad things happen to him all the time. He actually sees himself as a curse and the cause of his mother's suffering (though he recently realized she loved him anyway). It's never stated outright, but I'd be willing to bet that part of the reason he named himself 'Crow' is because of the bad luck superstition.
He'd probably warm up to Qrow after learning his circumstances, since he tends to have sympathy for people who have suffered similarly to him. Buuuuuut it'll take a while before he stops tensing and making disgusted faces at heavy drunkenness, since dealing with a walking trigger warning with a tendency to lash out at the slightest provocation when drunk tends to leave some mental scars.
I am all in for making Qrow feel like a human piece of garbage along the way to mutual understanding, it's pretty much the only thing that inspires him to be better. it wasn't until he let all the kids down big time, and Ruby stood up to him, that he even started to consider that maybe being hammered 24/7 during a war isn't a fabulous idea.
at the very least! it might help that Qrow isn't typically aggressive unless he's frustrated and keyed up in a combat situation. he's actually very low-key, just horrifically obnoxious lol and picking a fight with Winter was obviously flirting
and he's very, very protective of kids, so there's a quality Akechi might appreciate
I would have tossed Fish at him because he has CR with Mollymauk, but I think Genesis could make good CR for him since he could be a drinking buddy and sparring partner... or even a casual moonlacing partner!
