Truly a woman of eternal optimism, as well as immense physical prowess! That's certainly one way to look at my impending fatherhood, and it's a way that I very much approve of. And I do know someone who's fond of animals. Maybe they'd like a chick as well...(Though they'd get it for free. Freebies do make your business reputation more stellar, when given at the right time!)

Though, I think that I should probably evacuate the rooster so that he doesn't wake up my roommate. At least to the patio.

Can't tell if you're flirting with me or not.
But I mean, there's gotta be people who are willing to help and interested.
I run an NGO and let me tell you, free t-shirts really do get people worked up. Who knows what a free chicken would do?
Might be better, moving the rooster.
Can't say I know much about em. More a dog gal!
But I think you'll be fine.

ah

Well, is it really flirting if I'm just stating observations in my typically jovial manner? Haha!

[flirting, hard, and also embarrassing to admit to,]

And you run an NGO too...I had to look that up, but I'm afraid that it's simply a fact; you're actually unstoppable. A powerhouse of goodness. I'll really have to up my game to get on your level, but giving some chicks a good home really won't be the hardest challenge I've ever faced, I think. (In fact, keeping the hens and the rooster separate will be a little harder, but even then, I can absolutely manage it!)

Dogs are wonderful too, though! Do you have one here? ...Do they even have dogs here, actually? I haven't seen one so far. But I love hearing about people's animals; it always gives some insight on the person themselves.

I do it all the time, so yeah.
Maybe.
Ha, well, maybe not that! All you had to do was ask. Basically, I'm on the frontlines usually fighting against... to make it easier, monsters. You get used to it and if I don't do it, it means someone else will. I'd like to prevent future generations from having that duty.
I think giving them a good home might be a great start! Unfortunately I don't know much about chickens. My family had more of an orchard than a real farm, after my father retired.

I don't have one here or at home, unfortunately. I'd have to be sure I could stay here (and you're right, are there dogs here?) and back home, I'm rarely in my own apartment for even a day a month.
Wouldn't want to do that to an animal, you know?
