You awaken amidst the darkness with only a faint light to greet you. Your body is hemmed in by shards of crystals, gently sparkling and possibly pricking your skin. The surrounding landscape is dyed in the pinks and purples of the dusk filled with crystals protruding from the ground, some as large as a skyscraper. After an hour or two of wandering through the crystal wilderness, a group of people find you worse for wear. They are the gallant Moon Knights from the planet of Prismatica. Because of the strange phenomena during the past months when scientists observed the sudden appearance of rainbow crystals in the sky, the government has been feverishly combing through the moon for more Moonblessed to be rescued. You’ll eventually be brought into Iris’s moon government center.

You all may have your usual inquiries — Where are we? Who are you? What's going on? — and the Prismals are almost too eager to answer. They tell you about their world and about the first appearance of the Moonblessed as the medical staff give you an examination to make sure you’re not carrying any viruses or biological hazards. If you react violently, you may be restrained and nerfed with a specialized neurotransmitting gun that releases a numbing agent through the top of your spine. Once the examinations are over, you’re informed that you will be provided accommodations on their planet during your stay. You will then be escorted to the docks, and led onto a large transport vessel that makes frequent trips back and forth between the Iris moon and the planet. Faces onboard vary from both old and new Moonblessed as well as the local Prismals.

Welcome to Prismatica’s hub, Lunatia, the city of your dreams! A bustling metropolis lush with bright lights, vibrant colors, luxuriant plant life, and all the conveniences of technology absent from your own world… It seems like paradise to all the uninitiated. After a quick tour of the city, new arrivals can find themselves getting cozy in their new homes.

A Settle in your new home at Level 2 to find new roommates and say hello to your neighbors! City officials will give you directions to the designated districts across Level 2 and instruct you to pick out a unit. Each apartment complex has a different aesthetic, some may look cozy, some stylish, and some bizarre. The free accommodations have a basic living space that can only fit two or three people at most in one unit.

Starter Chromaspace furnishings are provided which can be controlled with the touch of a built-in panel. Examples are color-changing curtains, transforming sofa beds, cabinets turning into tables, etc. Customizing your apartment or moving out will have to wait until you earn more chroma. Until then, why don’t you check out your new neighborhood or explore the city levels? Maybe your new roommates or neighbors can give you a “hand” with allowance for dinner.

Oh my god, they're back again. After taking more than a year-long hiatus, *BTSB (Backstay Sailor Boys) takes the planet by storm once more with their latest single, Anybody (Yeah). With an album out and a concert on the way, the five-man fox Prismal group from Amegahara has been busy with promotions. Their appearances on billboard ads, magazines, TV shows, et cetera make their worldwide handsome faces pretty hard to miss! Everyone and their pet robot in Lunatia can be found jamming to their songs, and every teenager on the street can tell you who their bias is and why.

B Be a part of *BTSB's Prismagram campaign and get a chance to win a physical copy of their album and backstage passes to their upcoming concert! Simply take a picture of you and your friends with official merchandise and post it on Prismagram with the hashtag #WeAreBTSB. Be careful, though: touching *BTSB merchandise tends to make people crush on the first face they see. The posts with the best pictures and stories will get their prizes in the mail on the 24th.

Why would a Moonblessed want to meet them, you ask? Community spirit! A sizable portion of the locals will start singing or dancing with you and your friends! “I want it another way. Tell me why? I never want to hear you say, I wish it wasn't that way. Don't be that way!” Play along and they’ll be willing to pardon your unpaid meal tab for one time or offer an incredible discount for one item you really wanted at the mall. The boys are also considered talented magic users in their own right. They might have some spells and magic tools to add to a Moonblessed's arsenal!

▶ What’s the Deal With This Pop Life?

Before you meet these foxy boys, you'll want to do your research on them. Thankfully, their ridiculously huge fanbase (who refer to themselves as NAVY) has already done the work for you.

Suzaku is the leader and the brains of the group. Both his witty, rapid-fire raps and lightning-fast spinning breakdances are known throughout the planet. He is also a newscaster and likes making informative but interesting Prismagram posts. His brother is also an idol, albeit a washed up one-hit wonder.

Kaya is the group's down-to-earth mom friend and soulful vocals. He is the most responsible of the boys and handles their meals and laundry. A former delinquent in his youth, he now spends his free time cooking for schoolchildren and advocating fox rights. He does not support fox pelt products and owns an animal shelter for strays.

Lecter is a dancer who oozes with sex appeal. If not in the studio, he is always hitting up the gym. Once a member of the Little Moonblessings Club in his childhood, he has grown out of his boy-next-door image. Currently, he is #2 on Prismal Magazine's Top 100 Sexiest Men Alive for his well-built frame and photogenic looks. Contrary to his cool appearance and reserved demeanor, he is surprisingly personable. He is also a prolific actor. He likes cats.

Tarn is the baby of the group who maintains a gaming channel. He often does spontaneous livestreams where he does Let’s Play sessions, live Q&As, and encourages people to make memes of his face. He jokes about playing more LmaO than going to practice but he’s got clear and strong vocals.

Rasha is a narcissistic man who can’t get enough of his fans and himself. When hanging around his fans, he tends to ask if they have a mirror to look at himself with. Don’t let his vanity fool you! He’s funny, incredibly easy to be with, and willing to treat people to drinks. He writes most of the lyrics for the group’s songs.

C Every hour, you will receive a text from the official *BTSB fanclub with a link to a poll. The texts will not stop unless you answer the poll. Please answer it ICly, as the answers will affect the event later this month!

[ He wiggles his fingers to add effect to it. He's trying not to snicker as both of them play it up for the drama. ]

Oh yeah, I am definitely going to poison my good friend Hilda. You found out my greatest scheme ever. [ Flatly delivered. ] No one ever appreciates my more adventurous dishes. It's so rude!

[ Look, sometimes you have to add a little flavor to things because of how flavorless it is. He was doing everyone a favor. ]

Obviously poisoning me would be an accident! And "adventurous" doesn't mean "throw everything into the same pan." Cooking is an art.

[Which she has not mastered, don't @ her. But now that she's aired her not-at-all serious grievances to the manager:]

If you really want to cook for us, I will not complain. Oooor— [A pause as she graciously holds out her hand.] —I know somewhere we can go? And I suppose I can scandalously hold your hand on the way.

[Is she not the most generous person Claude has ever met in his life? Anyway, if he chooses this option, please know that she is taking him to McDenny's. Fries and milkshakes, baybee! Livin' it up.]

Of course, a total accident. [ or maybe not?!?! Nah, as much as Claude either jokes about poisoning people or actually doing it, he could never bring himself to poison Hilda. He cares too much about her. ] And I'll take your interior decorating advice, but your cooking advice? No offense, Hilda, but I think this is a battle we both lost.

[ He thinks for a moment. Hmm... ]

I think we'll save the adventures in cooking for another day. [ At her words, a grin blossoms onto his face and he delicately takes her hand in his. Oh, so this is what makes moonlacing different than just hand holding. This feels nice. ] I would be ever so honored to scandalously hold your hand, Ms. Goneril.

[ Doing his best impression of a stuffy noble. Lorenz who? ]

I'll let you lead the way.

[Ah, the Lorenz™ impersonation. How she'd missed it, even though she spends so much of her time hanging out with the real deal. But as great as that is—and as nice as moonlacing feels—she tips her head back, closing her eyes for a moment as she sighs.]

More work! Now that you're here, I guess this is just the beginning...

[She's only half complaining? At best. And it's made all the more obvious by the fond smile she soon gives him as she threads her fingers through his, ensuring that they are linked before she tugs him toward the door.]

Just don't expect me to walk fast? You know how weak I am when I haven't eaten.

[She is delicate! Plus, as they make their way out of the apartment building and begin weaving through the streets, Hilda is quick to point out anything that catches her interest. That flower shop has the most beautiful flowers she's ever seen; that coffee shop has an amazing drink that's bright pink; that café sells something called ~french toast~, and she's making Lorenz take her there ASAP. It's all to help Claude settle in! To better acquaint himself with his new surroundings.]

[ The whole gang's back together. Now she can spend time with the real deal and someone who pokes fun at said real deal - even if he does actually care for him. Friends tease each other all the time. ]

Don't worry, for every boring work you have to do, I'll have a scheme lined up for afterwards. Maybe even two!

[ Or three! Poor Lorenz has a lot of work ahead of him. Oh well, that's what happens when you basically appoint yourself as babysitter to these two. ]

Of course, I'd never hurt a delicate flower such as yourself. I bet you strain yourself from hefting that big axe of yours around.

[ Teasing her, because he can't always clown on Lorenz. But, anyway, he listens to Hilda speak with interest, noting the possible places to go to - either by himself or with Hilda and Lorenz ( and of course anyone else he stumbles upon! he's already met up with dimitri and byleth ). He's already done some exploring before he settled in his new apartment, but it's always good to spot things he might have missed. It's a lot to take in, even someone as observant as him could miss a detail. ]

Man, I've got some catching up to do. [ But he's not too worried. He'll probably be caught up by the end of day two. ] Sounds like you guys have had a bit of an adventure without me!

[Hilda is going to hold him to that Two Scheme Promise™, but for now it's just nice to walk down the street together! To babble on about anything and everything, because both gossip and her favorite brunch spots are valuable information. It's something, mmm, normal? In this weird world? She's had a ton of fun with Lorenz and Constance and others she's met, but a few weeks without her schemin' buddy was honestly tragique.]

So much has happened. Nothing bad, but...

[She hums quietly to herself, swinging their joined hands as she considers how, exactly, to put it.]

Well, don't let it go to your head, but I missed you! And Lorenz did, too, even if he won't say it.

[He's had no one to scrutinize these past few weeks? Pray for Lorenz.]

[ It was nice. This was nice. They can never go back to the real normal they had back in their world - war changes people and they've lost so, so much - but... this was a pretty close replacement. He still has things to do back in their world, but for now he was fine with this little vacation. ]

Just a lot has happened, even if it wasn't bad? Yeah, it's probably a pretty overwhelming feeling.

[ Their hands swing and he squeezes her hand gently, comfortably. ]

Well now I have to let it get to my head! But if I was in your place, I'd say the same thing. I'd miss you guys too. But we're here together now, so let's make the best of it.

[ He can't wait to see what kind of trouble they can get into. It's like being teenagers again! ]

[Make the best of it, aka come up with 984394 schemes. She is, as always, ready to cause (very fun) problems—but if Claude can tease her about being a delicate flower, then she's allowed to tilt her head to the side and pretend to study him very, very closely. Mysterious!]

Was that honesty, Claude? It almost looked like you meant everything you just said. [She straightens back up, bumping her arm against his as she gives a quick shake of her head.] So weird.

[Hmm, yes, she can't keep that smile off her face for very long.]

[ Oh no, she's got quite the look on her face. He knows trouble is a-brewin' and it's directed right at him! ]

Is that so? It couldn't be because I'm feeling a little sentimental about my good friends. Maybe I am sick. [ He bumps his arm against hers in return. ] Dr. Goneril, give it to me straight - how many more months do I have left?!

[ He sounds so distressed! Ignore the smile on his face and hear how distressed he sounds! ]

[Anyone else might laugh that joke off, but as Hilda is Hilda, she answers that question with a thoughtful hum? Pretends to study him once more before her eyes widen in the most dramatic fashion.]

Oh, no. It's way more serious than I thought, [she says as seriously as possible, biting the inside of her cheek as she tries—and fails, let's be real—to frown.] But I think you need to say another honest thing? Just so I can see its effect again.

[And she will press her lips together to keep from laughing as she waits, because they're so stupid! They are so stupid.]

[ A dramatic gasp! A hand over his heart! Heartbreak in real time! ]

This is bad, terrible even. But we gotta figure out how serious this is, so I'll be honest with you. [ He pauses, pretending to think extra, extra hard. ] One time I labeled an empty bottle as stomach poison just to see how people would react. It was worth the lecture from Teach.

[ He presses his lips together, his body shaking with a silent laughter. This is so stupid. He's not going to crack first, Hilda. ]

[Oh, he definitely isn't going to crack first—because Hilda definitely is, barely bringing her free hand to her mouth in time to stifle her sudden fit of giggles. It's not the prank itself? Claude's come up with far better pranks, in the grand scheme of things, but it's the memories of their Academy Days that really gets her. Simpler, happier times, wherein something as simple as an empty bottle caused plenty of problems.]

Claude! You are terrible! I'm telling Lorenz. [A beat, then, before she lowers her hand and adds:] Or maybe you should leave a bottle in his kitchen?

[Love u, Lorenz. Mwah.]

[ It was a lame prank, but he figured the memory of their Academy Days would make her smile. And besides, there was no way he was going to be entirely honest with her! Otherwise she might think he was actually sick. No, Hilda knew Claude as someone who only smiled genuinely around their teacher. ]

Oh no, don't tell Lorenz! Whatever will I do! [ Dramatic, laughter stifled. ] I feel like that wouldn't tip Lorenz off. He knows me a little too well now. I gotta do something that he would never see coming.

[ Maybe he should be overly nice and give Lorenz a heart attack. Love you, Lorenz. ]
