You awaken amidst the darkness with only a faint light to greet you. Your body is hemmed in by shards of crystals, gently sparkling and possibly pricking your skin. The surrounding landscape is dyed in the pinks and purples of the dusk filled with crystals protruding from the ground, some as large as a skyscraper. After an hour or two of wandering through the crystal wilderness, a group of people find you worse for wear. They are the gallant Moon Knights from the planet of Prismatica. Because of the strange phenomena during the past months when scientists observed the sudden appearance of rainbow crystals in the sky, the government has been feverishly combing through the moon for more Moonblessed to be rescued. You’ll eventually be brought into Iris’s moon government center.

You all may have your usual inquiries — Where are we? Who are you? What's going on? — and the Prismals are almost too eager to answer. They tell you about their world and about the first appearance of the Moonblessed as the medical staff give you an examination to make sure you’re not carrying any viruses or biological hazards. If you react violently, you may be restrained and nerfed with a specialized neurotransmitting gun that releases a numbing agent through the top of your spine. Once the examinations are over, you’re informed that you will be provided accommodations on their planet during your stay. You will then be escorted to the docks, and led onto a large transport vessel that makes frequent trips back and forth between the Iris moon and the planet. Faces onboard vary from both old and new Moonblessed as well as the local Prismals.

Welcome to Prismatica’s hub, Lunatia, the city of your dreams! A bustling metropolis lush with bright lights, vibrant colors, luxuriant plant life, and all the conveniences of technology absent from your own world… It seems like paradise to all the uninitiated. After a quick tour of the city, new arrivals can find themselves getting cozy in their new homes.

 A  Settle in your new home at Level 2 to find new roommates and say hello to your neighbors! City officials will give you directions to the designated districts across Level 2 and instruct you to pick out a unit. Each apartment complex has a different aesthetic, some may look cozy, some stylish, and some bizarre. The free accommodations have a basic living space that can only fit two or three people at most in one unit.

Starter Chromaspace furnishings are provided which can be controlled with the touch of a built-in panel. Examples are color-changing curtains, transforming sofa beds, cabinets turning into tables, etc. Customizing your apartment or moving out will have to wait until you earn more chroma. Until then, why don’t you check out your new neighborhood or explore the city levels? Maybe your new roommates or neighbors can give you a “hand” with allowance for dinner.

Oh my god, they're back again. After taking more than a year-long hiatus, *BTSB (Backstay Sailor Boys) takes the planet by storm once more with their latest single, Anybody (Yeah). With an album out and a concert on the way, the five-man fox Prismal group from Amegahara has been busy with promotions. Their appearances on billboard ads, magazines, TV shows, et cetera make their worldwide handsome faces pretty hard to miss! Everyone and their pet robot in Lunatia can be found jamming to their songs, and every teenager on the street can tell you who their bias is and why.

 B  Be a part of *BTSB's Prismagram campaign and get a chance to win a physical copy of their album and backstage passes to their upcoming concert! Simply take a picture of you and your friends with official merchandise and post it on Prismagram with the hashtag #WeAreBTSB. Be careful, though: touching *BTSB merchandise tends to make people crush on the first face they see. The posts with the best pictures and stories will get their prizes in the mail on the 24th.

Why would a Moonblessed want to meet them, you ask? Community spirit! A sizable portion of the locals will start singing or dancing with you and your friends! “I want it another way. Tell me why? I never want to hear you say, I wish it wasn't that way. Don't be that way!” Play along and they’ll be willing to pardon your unpaid meal tab for one time or offer an incredible discount for one item you really wanted at the mall. The boys are also considered talented magic users in their own right. They might have some spells and magic tools to add to a Moonblessed's arsenal!

▶ What’s the Deal With This Pop Life?

Before you meet these foxy boys, you'll want to do your research on them. Thankfully, their ridiculously huge fanbase (who refer to themselves as NAVY) has already done the work for you.

Suzaku is the leader and the brains of the group. Both his witty, rapid-fire raps and lightning-fast spinning breakdances are known throughout the planet. He is also a newscaster and likes making informative but interesting Prismagram posts. His brother is also an idol, albeit a washed up one-hit wonder.

Kaya is the group's down-to-earth mom friend and soulful vocals. He is the most responsible of the boys and handles their meals and laundry. A former delinquent in his youth, he now spends his free time cooking for schoolchildren and advocating fox rights. He does not support fox pelt products and owns an animal shelter for strays.

Lecter is a dancer who oozes with sex appeal. If not in the studio, he is always hitting up the gym. Once a member of the Little Moonblessings Club in his childhood, he has grown out of his boy-next-door image. Currently, he is #2 on Prismal Magazine's Top 100 Sexiest Men Alive for his well-built frame and photogenic looks. Contrary to his cool appearance and reserved demeanor, he is surprisingly personable. He is also a prolific actor. He likes cats.

Tarn is the baby of the group who maintains a gaming channel. He often does spontaneous livestreams where he does Let’s Play sessions, live Q&As, and encourages people to make memes of his face. He jokes about playing more LmaO than going to practice but he’s got clear and strong vocals.

Rasha is a narcissistic man who can’t get enough of his fans and himself. When hanging around his fans, he tends to ask if they have a mirror to look at himself with. Don’t let his vanity fool you! He’s funny, incredibly easy to be with, and willing to treat people to drinks. He writes most of the lyrics for the group’s songs.

 C  Every hour, you will receive a text from the official *BTSB fanclub with a link to a poll. The texts will not stop unless you answer the poll. Please answer it ICly, as the answers will affect the event later this month!

Upon voting on the poll, you will be redirected to a video and text chatroom where you will be connected to a random stranger who has also answered the poll. Both you and the stranger will then need to answer the following questions:

▶ A. Trauma Blanket
[ Taichi doesn't have a violent reaction or anything. No, rather than that, he's gone and shaked hands with someone long enough to afford a colorful blanket which he has wrapped around his shoulders in the middle of public. It's a trauma blanket! That's what people get when they've had a trauma! And Taichi has never found himself stranded on a technicolored crystal planet away from his friends and family before and he's traumatized, so he needs a trauma blanket.

(Even if no one else seems to have one- it's more like he wandered into a crafts store and found the most reflective foil he could, since that's what trauma blankets look like on TV shows, right? Or maybe he's confused it with emergency thermal blankets. Look, he's no expert.)

Either way, he's walking up to people to ask for help. ]

[ Taichi's all for community spirit and a good time. Once he's decided he's not traumatized or in need of medical assistance, he settles in okay and is happy to play along or.. honestly, encourage other people to play along.

The only problem is, he's pretty sure he knows these songs?? So he keeps mixing up the lyrics with the earth version. He's pretty sure they topped the Oricon charts when he was a kid, they were all over the radio! Except this is obviously different, since they're fox-people here, and he keeps getting the lyrics messed up. ]

[ This is definitely another level of overbearing publicity stunts, but Taichi supposes it gets the feedback and publicity they need. No one seems to be too mad about it anyway! And what's there to be mad about? Getting connected with strangers is fun!

Taichi has a "V" sign with his fingers out when his video connects after it gives a little explanation. Before he event sees the other person, he blurts out an energetic introduction over the video chat. ]

[ Everything that was said on board the ship by the Moon Knights and the scientists felt like something out of a story. A story... that's right. He's reminded of a child who ran into a rabbit's hole, following a white rabbit because she was madly curious. It brought her to a new land— hold on, is he comparing himself to Alice at this time?

... Lelouch scoffs at his own thoughts. His eyes are narrowed, arms crossed, and he looks absolutely unwelcoming as he watches people walk past him left and right in front of one of the apartments in Level Two.

He should get settled, he understands. Should he spend more than an hour here, he would like a place where he feels secure. Or perhaps he should find the others here, too. Black Knights, or his friends from Ashford. He'll put on a mask, whatever is necessary... People first, then an apartment. . . unless the people here can't help him, then he'll have to change his plans. ]

Ah, excuse me, [ The frown on his face disappears when he decides to call the attention of a passerby. ] I was wondering if you've seen anyone wearing the same uniform as I'm wearing?

[ It's a little unnerving how peaceful this city is. What about the rest of the world? The question seems to be answered when he hears of the news that *BTSB is coming to Lunatia. An Amegaharan group, coming to another city... then relations between two cities are peaceful. While he can't assume that Lunatia's relations with the rest of the world of Prismatica are peaceful, he will at least think that the city seems to be free from war, which makes it a place where people can be happy.

He immerses himself in *BSTB, researching about them on the communications bracelet he was given, if only to have more information as to why the natives seem to like them so much, amongst other reasons. A little apprehensive to purchase one of the merchandise being sold all over the city, if only because he doesn't have much Chroma, he figures he'll have to moonlace to do it. Ugh... the very thought of receiving money to spend from physical contact. . . it's not repulsive, but it makes him uncomfortable.

Demichroma's value isn't that much, which means should he want to get anywhere, he'll need to amass a sufficient amount of Chroma. And to do that? ]

Would you like to shake hands?

[ He looks back at the stall behind him. There is a merchant selling various types of keychains and small plushies...

Lelouch will hold the hands of each person in this city at least once. And apparently develop a crush on them in the process. ]


( C: WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH THIS POP LIFE? )
[ Never would Lelouch have imagined that he would try to appreciate this sort of music. Pop... boybands............. Britannia produced some of their own, back in the day, but Lelouch preferred classical music and operas. Living in Japan for most of his childhood, he's learned to appreciate their music, as well. They do like their pop and rock. . . but never did he listen as intently as he did now.

This is all for a greater plan, he tells himself. He'll need to absorb as much of the culture for a greater plan. As for what that might be? He hasn't thought about it yet, but he will have one much later on.

He's seated at a cafe, drinking tea with his legs crossed, when a third text arrives from the *BTSB fanclub. He frowns. They never stop do they? ]

Suzaku is very spirited and passionate, [ His eye twitches at the mention of the name. And yes, he's talking to himself as he glosses over the poll. ] But the others...

[ The idea of a Knight of Seven singing and dancing and rapping is rather amusing... Very well, then. He inputs his vote and assumes that that's that. Except now he can't view anything on his device aside from the feed that's being shown. It seems he's part of a video call now... How annoying. ]

[This experience was very new for Euphemia...well in some ways. She had been on some crazy instances since being allowed to do more outside of the safety of home. Regardless of that! Being taken to a new planet was most certainly the newest experience.

Lost in her thoughts since arriving she was trying to piece together what happened to lead her here? It wasn't until the, familiar, voice got her attention. Turning to see the person she blinks quickly looking him up and down.]

Nie Mingjue | The Untamed

Welcome to the Jungle!

As far as welcomes go, this is about as far from what Mingjue looks for as one can go. He doesn't mind the free place to live, though the way to customize it has him eying and poking at the various buttons suspiciously until it's acceptable enough. Simple. Multipurposed furniture. Bare. Hardly a balm to the rage that threatens to overwhelm everywhere he turns.

Perhaps he shouldn't go out. But sitting and doing nothing when meditation has been helping less and less will only make him angrier. Closer to loosing control. He needs answers before returning and holing himself up for his end.

He walks with purpose (more like stalking...) through the streets, gaze sharp as he gives the buildings a hard stare or the people he passes an even warier stare.

Someone might want to stop him (carefully!) and maybe sit him down somewhere calming for a nice cup of tea.


Rock your body

The thing blasting out absurd attempts at music has Mingjue reaching to pick it up and tear it apart.

"That is not music!" He growls. "Cease or I will make you!" Maybe they shouldn't have given Baxia back to him. Because the robot chirps rudely at him and scurries off in an attempt to escape mechanical destruction.

People on the streets will be treated to the sight of the man chasing something that has no business of being able to thwart him, cursing it along the way as it merrily continues to blast the insulting music.

Zonghui steps around a corner and there is his Sect Leader. So he cups his hands in greeting, immediately. He hasn't been here too long, but his own confusion (and... the complicated parts of what he last remembers, before waking up on the moon here) gets immediately put to the side and he starts sorting out what he knows instead. Because his Sect Leader his here, and that's all that matters.

Professor Sycamore | Pokemon XY

#1 YOU'RE MAKING ME A BOY WITH LOVE (OPTION B WITH A HINT OF A)

[Settling into the city of Lunatia was easier than Professor Sycamore had expected; the overall joyous vibe of the place (so much singing and dancing!) was infectious, and as soon as he had the chance to leave his assigned apartment, he immediately headed into the heart of it. He's accompanied by three Kalosian starter Pokemon; a Chespin, a Fennekin, and a Froakie. It would be cruel to deprive them of this experience by keeping them in their pokeballs, so they're all trotting happily behind the professor as he makes his way into the city.

It doesn't take long for the four of them to be caught up in the *BTSB hysteria - who knew Pokemon could dance? Sycamore also manages to score enough dance partners to earn himself a small bit of Chroma; enough for some coffee later, and enough to get a souvenir at the merchandise stand. Parfait! Everything is working out wonderfully.

If you're amidst the chaos currently gripping Lunatia, you'll find yourself approached by Sycamore and his three furry (or not-so-furry) companions, giving you a friendly wave and saying, in a strong Kalosian French accent:]

Ah, salut! I just purchased a notebook and pen from the merchandise stand, and the lovely girl behind the counter gave me some free photocards! Would you like one?

[OOC note: if your character is under 25, any crush will just manifest as Sycamore finding them adorable/inspiring!]

#2 KAYA IS A BIAS-WRECKER (OPTION C)

[Whomever is running the poll event won't need to spam Sycamore's bracelet with texts; upon receiving the first one, he's sat down on an outside table at a (rather fancy, in all honesty!) cafe with his three Pokemon, busily trying to work out who to vote for.

Between the four of them, they're...not having all that much luck deciding upon a favourite.]

I don't know, I think we should go for Suzaku! You know I love that strong, intelligent type mes amis! Those natural leaders...ah, they are simply parfait!

[Apparently this is both a popular and a terrible choice; Chespin fully supports selecting Suzaku (nerds unite!) but Fennekin will not be convinced away from his choice of Kaya (he said fox rights and he should say it!), and Froakie thinks Rasha's excellent hair (???) is enough to make him the top choice (not that he cares all that much - he'd rather be sleeping...). At this point, Sycamore just wishes he hadn't bought everyone at the table coffee. Throwing his arms up in the arm dramatically, he sighs and runs his fingers through his hair.]

Ah, this is impossible! I simply cannot choose! I love them all!

[The agony of being a (spontaneous) boy-group fan! Turning the bracelet back towards him, Sycamore places a hand on both Chespin and Fennekin's heads.]

Now listen here, you two. I have a solution! What if we voted Suzaku for our favourite member, but voted Daya in the second poll? Would that be alright?

[That seems to have calmed the waters; after some furious(ly adorable) glaring at each other, Chespin and Fennekin both nod. Poll answered!

As soon as he thinks of this, he feels like a crow of bad fortune, because straightaway a question pops up on his screen: Do you think the other person in this chatroom can be your fire? One of your many desires? Tell me why. Be honest.

He looks up. The person in the screen doesn't look half bad, so he says easily: ]

❖ ARRIVAL.
[ There’s a moment of disorientation as Harley emerges from the crystalline structure -- not an entirely new feeling given the life she’s led. At first, she wonders if she’s having some sort of bad trip but the prickling of the crystal shards tells her that, no, this isn’t some bad trip. If it was she wouldn’t feel it as keenly as it is. Second, she wonders if she’s dreaming. Why that’s second to a bad trip, who knows. Third, she wonders if this is another of those trials but she quickly realizes she’s not wearing the belt, in fact, it’s nowhere nearby. Instead, she finds Bernie -- a taxidermy beaver that’s half-burned with a hole blown through the chest -- and her comically massive wooden mallet lying nearby amid the crystal shards. ]

We certainly ain’t in Kansas no more. [ She murmurs as she gathers up Bernie under one arm and her mallet slung over her shoulder.

Despite the initial confusion, she takes the situation in stride, almost cheerfully wandering the moon’s surface. By the time she happens upon any Knights, however, she’s dragging the mallet behind her and hungry. ]

Ya got anything to eat? [ The first question to come out of her mouth before the scientist beging their examination of her. ]

[ so, dying. shouta's expectations for the experience were pretty low. yet that's exactly what he was supposed to have done, and the stunt he pulled had assured him that he'd have a nice toasty seat waiting for him in hell, if there was one. but all shouta has to remember is the rush of it. the adrenaline, the flash, the searing heat that was so consuming he'd never even felt cold, before it was all over. in the moment, he never really stopped to think about what came after the fact, which was honestly kind of the whole selling point - so when vivid blue eyes crack open to a topsy-turvy blend of sickening sweet colors, shouta immediately frowns. ]

...the hell?

[ his whole body hurts, skin being aggravated by the closeness of the crystals. and so, he lays there. for how long? who knows. minutes, maybe an hour. maybe there's someone nearby. maybe he's just talking to himself like a lunatic. whatever the case, he breathes out once he's sure this is pretty real, groaning like he's just had the worst night of his life.

he reaches up to dig his palm against his brow, through the fiery auburn of his messy bangs. ]

Put me back. Sooner rather than later, if you don't mind.

[ eventually, whether he's prompted to move or just hauls himself up from his prickly corpse throne, shouta manages to get a move on in search of... well, he doesn't know, exactly. but he expects he'll find it, eventually. or it'll find him. he can defend himself if necessary, but only for so long. what would his vice captain say at a time like this? "Shouta-kun!! [ somehow, being planetside doesn't make things a whole lot better. lunatia is a lot. bright, bustling, full of people who look like they took a wrong turn trying to get to the convention center. but despite his temper, shouta has a good head on his shoulders when he remembers that he has it. his boomer ass will learn how to work everything that's not a flip cellphone once he's found a place to settle and regain his bearings.

at the starter housing, he seems to have found a pretty decent place. sizable, furnished. nothing like that his salary used to buy, but not a rollaway cot surrounded by unpacked boxes, either. instead of fiddling with the aesthetics, he goes for the fridge.

just his luck that it seems he has company. sighing, he rests his arm on the open fridge, glancing off behind him. ]

[ This one actually isn't new, but Ayer headed back to the Iris moon base to check their library and other facilities. From the moon base's reading archives, to the Tower of Whispers, and the Lunatian Archives — there are several places worth checking from time to time. Ayer was about to keep walking, but another part of him can't. He sighs in irritation before stepping inside the room, assisting the Prismals to carry the potato sack to the nearest bed. Needless to say, he's...still very confused. Yes, he's had things explained, yes, he gets the gist, but...it's still a bit far-fetched. He wouldn't even believe it had he not already been subjected to things ( and people ) quite nearly as strange. That, however, is not the current problem. The current problem is the fact Andrew has tucked himself underneath the darkest awning possible on the street, gloved fingers wiping his eyes which seem to be...watery? ]

Ugh... [ It's rather clear to whoever's nearby that he's in pain from his mumbling. Certain places are better than others, but it doesn't change the fact this place is just... ] I-Is it always this bright...?

b } [ Navigating himself here was a task, and a headache in multiple ways. Still, he managed it. And he does have to admit, similar to his room back at the manor, the housing is certainly a step up from his lodgings at the graveyard. They said to just pick, and so he did-- an apartment at the very end of the hallway, furthest away from the crowds. It has an admittedly homely feeling, although a bit more modern than he's used to. Yes, he can do with this just fine.

...Or he will, once he figures out whatever this machine is supposed to be. There's a lot of pictures and numbers, and he finds himself crouching down and squinting as he attempts to navigate the panels functions. Machines are...not his strong point. Combining poor eyesight and a lack of education, he's kiiiinda pressed a lot of things, and the living room looks a bit disorganized at this point. ]

What is the point of this...?! Honestly....

[ If you're looking for a gloomy roommate or just curious as to what kind of design faux pas is going on, the door is wide open. ]

[ He won't lie, the music playing everywhere is starting to grate on him. Perhaps it's because he's not used to the new genres or because it's on a constant loop, but he's getting rather tired of it. He hasn't paid much attention to the signage, mainly due to the fact if he's not focusing it's a bit too far off and blurry, but he has noticed people rambling about the same names over and over again.

This, though...it hardly seems worth that much attention. The display in front of him only caught his eye due to the number of people hanging around it, and he let curiosity take hold and cautiously examined it. It's just... plastic squares with pictures on them, as well as little things like buttons and even what appear to be dolls of some kind. Andrew turns one of the...CD's, whatever that is, over in his hands before deeming it uninteresting and putting it back, stepping out of the crowd with his head down only to nearly run directly into someone who happened to be outside the radius of fans. ]

Excuse me-- [ The glance that he aims at their face is supposed to be brief, but he finds himself freezing in place, feet heavy like they've sunk into mud. He doesn't know what it is, but there's an odd feeling in his chest, like his heart beating faster. He...can't say he really likes it. Not when his face feels a bit warm, something he tries to shake away as he pulls back a bit to put more distance between him and this person. ]

[Zed's more or less ambivalent towards trending music. It may get a bit annoying with it on constantly in the background of stores and other public places, but people will like what they like. Still, the explosive popularity of a singular band is a bit puzzling. Community spirit is great and all, but the sudden group dances that happen on the streets feels more like brainwashing to him.

Nevertheless, Zed is a bit curious about the commotion after a merchandise stand, although he only observes from the outside. There doesn't seem to be much to it, and he was just thinking about leaving when he's bumped into.]

If he had retreated, he would've accidentally collided with another person leaving the group right behind him. [Tabitha's head hadn't quite stopped spinning until he was alone in his new 'apartment'; everything that happened on the Iris moon (that's what it was called, right?) seemed to go past in a blur, until all of a sudden he was here in this new city, which most definitely wasn't in Hoenn, which meant he was most definitely not where he was supposed to be.

Crap. Hopefully the boss would understand.

Not one to dwell on the negatives, Tabitha is soon out and about in inner Lunatia, accompanied by his partner pokemon, Torkoal. The jovial atmosphere of the city suits him, and it's not long before he's managed to wander into what looks to be a very futuristic bar. But hey, futuristic or not, a bar is bar, yeah? They're playing that one song everyone is singing (including the patrons in here), there's booze available and the locals are beckoning him inside. Sounds good to him! It's been a while since he's let his hair down properly, so that's where he's entertaining himself for a good part of the day. Everyone here is so damn friendly, especially when he sings with them!

At some point in the drunken revelry Tabitha is gifted a *BTSB t-shirt, which he is now proudly wearing underneath his hood because why the hell not? Might as well try to blend in with the locals! Plus these songs are pretty catchy. Even Torkoal is having a dance!

So if you find yourself in (or near) one of the licensed establishments throughout the day, you might be approached by a massive dude wearing a spiky red hoodie and a frankly excellent t-shirt.]

[ Someone save him. Song Lan is standing between three very enthusiastic fans who are all trying to convince ‘tall, dark and handsome’ to join their campaign. The best thing he can do is wander in hopes of finding civilization or, at least, something edible. (( Once Lockon finds himself in Lunatia, things seem more like he’s used to. Well, except for the Prismals. Everywhere he looks are bright lights and posters hailing the new album and tour of a band called *BTSB. He’s never heard of them. No surprise considering the band is comprised of fox Prismals. Maybe that’s their music he hears spilling out onto the streets.

The lodgings aren’t bad. They’re simple, but customizable. While Lockon doesn’t find any difficulties in navigating the technology, the way the décor changes is something he’s never seen. He cycles through all the options before settling on something that has a sleek, modern minimalist look. After that, it’s time to get his bearings and maybe find some food. Unfortunately, this place doesn’t seem to run on his currency and he finds himself turned away at yet another restaurant. Maybe you can help a guy out? ))

To be honest, he's more surprised at how calm he is rather than the current situation at hand. Maybe it's because ever since they rescued Rhea, Claude's life kept spiraling down this strange decades old conspiracy. It's kind of hard to top a secret, shadowy organization, the Archbishop being an actual saint from the land's religious text and other legendary figures from said religious text being brought back to life by the secret, shadowy group mentioned before.

He also knows panicking doesn't really help the situation at hand, and it's best to keep your cards close to your chest so no one suspects a thing. Plopping in a seat across from someone, he smiles at them - curious and observant. ]

▶ WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH THIS POP LIFE?

[ If his phone is so hellbent on bothering him about this, he might as well do his research. And that doesn't just include looking things up online. He doesn't really understand it, but the people seem happy talking about their favorite member so he's willing to listen. Back home she knows there are a ton of females who obsess over whichever band member fits their fancy or species or whatever, but they were only in small pockets of cliques at her school, ones she was never a part of anyway. But she's basically being harassed to participate in this inane poll, so she too has decided to do some cursory research just so she can vote for the least offensive male of the bunch and carry on with more important things in her life.

Lo and behold, when she completes the poll she winds up having to deal with the video function of her device turning on, and she was clearly unprepared for it because she's in her bathroom, toothbrush sticking out of her mouth, still in her PJs.]

Uh... [It's said through a gargle of toothpaste, and she goes through the same efforts of trying to turn the video off. But it's to no avail.

Wow she does not want to do this!! At least she does away with her toothbrush and mouth full of toothpaste off-camera, and rubbing the foam away with the back of her hand she just makes a face at this human cooperating with a really stupid poll.]

Honestly I've only tasted the guy I'm kind of involved with so I think I'm too biased to answer.

[WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE]

A) To say that he was disoriented would be an exaggeration, but to say that he had already adjusted...well, that wasn't true either. Pietro felt like running back and forth in his room, energy restlessly stirring inside of him as if he had been brought back to the day he first learned to control his speed. Outwardly he did no such thing, and instead sat at the edge of his new bed, playing with the curtains. The colors it changed to were pretty.

He felt numb. He felt like laughing. He felt the lack of his twin by his side and on a normal day that would leave him feeling a little lost, but this was so much worse. He was no longer even on the same planet as her. If he didn't dream about the same things every night, he would think this was one of his nightmares.

The apartment was small and still, and the sound of the door opening made him look up. The newcomer wouldn't be able to see him from where he or she stood, but they would the next time they blinked their eyes. Pietro would get in trouble here if he kept using his power unthinkingly like that, but that's a lesson he would learn a little later.

"Sorry, but this place is already taken," he told them, his smile brittle but not unfriendly.

B) [The apartment is completely furnished, but the closet is empty and bare. Pietro isn't really disappointed, but with how fancy the curtains and furniture are, he was kind of expecting the room to just know his size and give him clothes.

He picks at the hole on his sleeve as he steps out of his room and notices for the first time that his gunshot wound is gone. He wonders how much time has passed for him to be healed already.

It doesn't take long for him to come across somebody after he leaves the apartment. Pietro approaches the first person he sees on the street and points at his clothes, asking:]

Hey, do you know where I can get this fixed, or where I can get new clothes?

C) The music had been OK the first time he'd heard it. A little too loud, but the beat was catchy. He was hearing the same track for the twelfth time now however, and it was getting on his nerves. It didn't help that groups of teenagers kept on trying to get him to dance with them, making comments on how cool his hair was. Didn't they notice that he was too old for this kind of thing?

Pulling away from another set of grabby hands made him bump into a bystander hard enough to knock them off-balance. Or maybe they were larger/sturdier and would knock Pietro off-balance. Either way, Pietro's quick reflexes kicked in and he grabbed at the person so that both of them stayed on their feet.

[There is an awkward figure roaming around the neighborhood. His posture isn't great, he's pale as a ghost, and he's dressed all in black in a way that makes it look like he got lost on his way out of the local goth club.

Being able to just walk around and be accepted as part of society is something Seidou is going to have to get used to again, and it doesn't feel right. Part of him doesn't want to be accepted. It's too easy. He doesn't deserve it.

But there are no other ghouls for him to fight, and his main source of sustenance now is apparently the block of synthetic whatever that he's left on his kitchen table for now. He hasn't tried it. It's likely bland and unappealing, just as it should be.]

Excuse me... [He attempts to get someone's attention. How long has it been since he's felt the need to be so hesitant about anything?] Where's the best place to get coffee here?

[ Being teleported to a strange planet against his will is not Magnus' idea of a grand time. He is, however, excellent at adapting.

Besides, there's nothing to do except plant himself here until he can figure out why his magic is only capable of opening a portal from end to end on this...moon place, but not to get him back to either Alicante or Brooklyn. (He would be suspicious that the Nephilim may have unceremoniously banished their own High Warlock from the city, but given that his husband is the Inquisitor, he highly doubts that's the case here.)

At least there are no demons. There does seem to be a bunch of warlocks in a band, all with the same mark. That's what it seems like, anyway, judging from the posters and billboards. It's intriguing, though not out of the realm of the unusual as far as things go. Normally, Magnus is always quite glad to support his own people, but he's fairly distracted at the moment so you won't find him enjoying the music playing along the streets as much as he would otherwise.

Since he's in a strange place, Magnus has taken to portaling from place to place around the city, trying to sort it all out since things are a bit bizarre at the moment. He'll exit it in front of you, appearing seemingly out of nowhere in a gust of air.

Of course, portaling is a bit off in this dimension when he hasn't explored the place as thoroughly as he could. He might've wound up somewhere perfectly normal like a coffee shop or he might've just fallen into the water in the bathhouse while you're trying to relax.

So when Magnus' portal drops him into one of the Caihong waterways, he will almost immediately be rescued by a handsome young man currently laboring under a rather dramatic Iris jellyfish transformation. He's mostly learned how to control his tendrils, but if Magnus makes any sudden movements it's possible that he might be struck with partial paralysis from an unintentional jellyfish sting.]

Taped to the parasol are several BTSB posters and dangling from the tip is a Kaya key chain. This enthusiastic but sloppy show of support might be explained by what is currently beneath said parasol.

Kamui, still dressed in his heavy martial arts garb with bandages wrapped around the length of his arms, is taking advantage of his free meal by absolutely gorging himself. The table before him is stacked as high as he is tall with empty plates, and as he stuffs yet another burger down his throat, the owner runs crying back to the safety of his kitchen.

Kamui licks his fingers, watching the man bolt with amusement.]

Just let me know if you want another picture, 'kay? [He sing-songs shamelessly.] I'll gladly eat here every day!

[Chris's arrival to this place was signaled by her being quite loud—never violent, but if she had an opinion about something, she made sure that someone heard it all throughout processing. You may have seen (or heard) her at some point: a white-haired girl, clearly not willing to take any shit, demanding the full story about how she got here and why she can't go home.

By now... she's resigned herself to her situation. She immediately heads to up in her apartment, which is a very melancholy act for her. She misses the shrine to her parents, and all the other touches that remind her of her friends and the stable, welcoming home that she'd not only created, but earned.

Mentally, she resolves herself. She's going to see all of them again.

Eventually, she decides to go out and get the lay of her surroundings. Her intention is to simply get information, and she can only get that by talking to people.]

A) [ One moment he’s upon a battlefield. In the very next, Silverash is surrounded by landscape livened with far more color than he’d ever previously experienced outside of paintings. The thought that he’s not in Erthia comes to mind. Yet, there remain other possibilities that he can’t fully eradicate from his mind until he receives more confirmation, until he obtains more intelligence. He isn’t entirely alone, as it seems that his falcon, Tenzin, has occupied him on this strange journey.

Shedding his body of crystals, leaving minor cuts compared to the not very serious, but still very much there, wounds obtained from combat, he’s careful to avoid the shards. Purposefully looking for any sign of intelligent life, eventually, the man finds somebody to speak with. He eyes them with a look of skepticism, but besides the overall bearing of his countenance, there’s no other sign of open hostility as he approaches, cane by his side. ]

Halt.

[ Well, except maybe what he just said. Until he receives the answers that he seeks, Silverash will not be in the mood for idle pleasantries. ]

B) [ On the vessel from the moon to Lunatia, Silverash has spent the majority of his time drinking in the view of this new environment that he’s found himself trapped within. A strong sense of deja vu washes upon him as spiraling towers of the city come into view. The situation is at least somewhat akin to when he first arrived at Victoria to receive his education, after the death of his parents, away from the familiar confines of Kjerag. ]

What a carefree world.

[ The sound of his own very utterance sounds distant, and after a pronounced moment of sullen silence, he’s surprised that he showed himself so taken aback. Composing himself once more, his attention remains on the horizon, his wonderment no less pronounced. Still, Silverash knows that appearances can be deceiving, yet his thoughts dwell on how Prismatica will compare to Erthia. ]

II. ROCK YOUR BODY RIGHT

[ Whatever craze that *BTSB or Backstay Sailor Boys present is completely lost on Silverash. Their music is unavoidable as well, and seeing as he has the taste of a stuffy old man, he disliked everything he has heard thus far. However, from the standpoint of the chairman of a trading company, he is interested in just how much money these sailor boys rake in.

And so he finds himself casually looking at the merchandise offered. One of the salespeople asks him what he would like to buy, presenting him with an array of options, though the best place to begin for any beginner is a CD bundled with merchandise. Silverash shakes his head immediately. ]

I must reject your proposal. [ His rejection is curt. Elaborating, ] Listening to their music almost makes me wish I was a deaf man.

[ Unless someone else interjects, Silverash takes a look to see if anyone is nearby, and if they are, will offer— ]

III. POP LIFE

[ Having half-heartedly responded to the poll, Silverash almost immediately responds to the first of the followup questions. He can hardly think of any reason not to do so— the questions may be leading, but they’re rather innocuous. ]

[Courier prides himself on being quick to adapt to almost any situation, a talent that has helped him survive countless close calls and harsh environments. But in most of those instances he had been at least somewhat prepared for what he might face... And in this case he was anything but.

So many aspects of his arrival raise red flags and put the itra on edge, and due to that caution he lets slip his usual well-worn smile in favor of keeping his defenses fully raised. One hand remains poised by his side near his sword as he explores, moving carefully and as silently as he can manage through the crystal-dotted terrain. But of course there are those whose skills far outmatch his and so it's little surprise that Silverash manages to come upon him almost without warning. Out of instinct that readied hand grabs the hilt of his weapon as he spins, only to stop on a dime when his brain catches up and he recognizes the man.

In a split second the defenses are lowered as the tension (almost) completely leaves his posture.]

Arrival - A

[ While being encased in crystal wasn't exactly the most startling thing to wake up to, considering his body was still very much flesh and bone rather than crystallized like a certain memory back when he was 14, it was still not at all what he expected to happen after falling asleep at his desk, researching well into the wee hours of the morning to look for a solution to what was essentially the end of the world. Not being surrounded by the chaos was definitely an odd sort of feeling, but one he welcomed wholeheartedly as he gingerly pulled himself out of his tomb and made his way through the area. Wherever this place was, there had to be others nearby.

There was no use his panicking, so Hope wandered and hoped to encounter someone else on this odd world. Or, perhaps, it was all just a dream. Time will tell (if time even existed here). ]

Arrival - B

[ It wasn't a dream. Alright, he was on another world. A world not quite unlike what Academia used to be. It was bright and colorful and while mostly contained in one location with a few others scattered here and there, it was also not unlike Bhunivelze. Keeping its people alive while the area around it is remarkably dangerous. Hope sighed softly, rubbing his forehead momentarily before grabbing his gloves and slipping them on. He made his way out of the medical ward of the government center, having been poked and prodded and vaccinated. He squinted in the sunlight as he walked down the steps. He supposed now would be a good time to find a place to stay. ]

[ The apartment wasn't too bad. A little stuffy, likely from being vacant for some time, but otherwise spacious enough. He left the door open and the opened the windows to air it out while he played with the control panel. He managed to set it to something similarly seen in Academia, minimalist and functional. After that, he decided to make his way back out, although he didn't quite leave the apartment yet. Instead he halted himself at the doorway to pull out the new phone he received.

May as well figure out how to work it first and then look up a map with all the locations he would need to go to so he can get some groceries and toiletries. Of course, it seemed some new sensational band was all over the place because he triggered an ad as he looked at some of the stores online. He didn't quite mind it, the song was catchy and pop as most pop bands are, so he let it play. Sorry if you've heard the song a lot today though. At least he kept the volume down? ]

What's the deal?

[ It was at a general store that Hope finally caved and decided to answer the poll if only to get his phone to stop vibrating in his back pocket (apparently silencing wasn't enough). He honestly didn't know any of the idols, having done none of the research, and simply picked the first option (Suzaku) for both questions. He sighed and was about to finally pocket it when he realized that a video call was suddenly taking place and his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. ]

Uh, pardon, you might have the wrong num- wait, what?

[ What the hell kind of questions were these? How incredibly awkward. Not to mention not tasteful at all. ]
