You awaken amidst the darkness with only a faint light to greet you. Your body is hemmed in by shards of crystals, gently sparkling and possibly pricking your skin. The surrounding landscape is dyed in the pinks and purples of the dusk filled with crystals protruding from the ground, some as large as a skyscraper. After an hour or two of wandering through the crystal wilderness, a group of people find you worse for wear. They are the gallant Moon Knights from the planet of Prismatica. Because of the strange phenomena during the past months when scientists observed the sudden appearance of rainbow crystals in the sky, the government has been feverishly combing through the moon for more Moonblessed to be rescued. You’ll eventually be brought into Iris’s moon government center.
You all may have your usual inquiries — Where are we? Who are you? What's going on? — and the Prismals are almost too eager to answer. They tell you about their world and about the first appearance of the Moonblessed as the medical staff give you an examination to make sure you’re not carrying any viruses or biological hazards. If you react violently, you may be restrained and nerfed with a specialized neurotransmitting gun that releases a numbing agent through the top of your spine. Once the examinations are over, you’re informed that you will be provided accommodations on their planet during your stay. You will then be escorted to the docks, and led onto a large transport vessel that makes frequent trips back and forth between the Iris moon and the planet. Faces onboard vary from both old and new Moonblessed as well as the local Prismals.
The next destination: Prismatica.

Oh my god, they're back again. After taking more than a year-long hiatus, *BTSB (Backstay Sailor Boys) takes the planet by storm once more with their latest single, Anybody (Yeah). With an album out and a concert on the way, the five-man fox Prismal group from Amegahara has been busy with promotions. Their appearances on billboard ads, magazines, TV shows, et cetera make their worldwide handsome faces pretty hard to miss! Everyone and their pet robot in Lunatia can be found jamming to their songs, and every teenager on the street can tell you who their bias is and why.

Before you meet these foxy boys, you'll want to do your research on them. Thankfully, their ridiculously huge fanbase (who refer to themselves as NAVY) has already done the work for you.
Suzaku is the leader and the brains of the group. Both his witty, rapid-fire raps and lightning-fast spinning breakdances are known throughout the planet. He is also a newscaster and likes making informative but interesting Prismagram posts. His brother is also an idol, albeit a washed up one-hit wonder.
Kaya is the group's down-to-earth mom friend and soulful vocals. He is the most responsible of the boys and handles their meals and laundry. A former delinquent in his youth, he now spends his free time cooking for schoolchildren and advocating fox rights. He does not support fox pelt products and owns an animal shelter for strays.
Lecter is a dancer who oozes with sex appeal. If not in the studio, he is always hitting up the gym. Once a member of the Little Moonblessings Club in his childhood, he has grown out of his boy-next-door image. Currently, he is #2 on Prismal Magazine's Top 100 Sexiest Men Alive for his well-built frame and photogenic looks. Contrary to his cool appearance and reserved demeanor, he is surprisingly personable. He is also a prolific actor. He likes cats.
Tarn is the baby of the group who maintains a gaming channel. He often does spontaneous livestreams where he does Let’s Play sessions, live Q&As, and encourages people to make memes of his face. He jokes about playing more LmaO than going to practice but he’s got clear and strong vocals.
Rasha is a narcissistic man who can’t get enough of his fans and himself. When hanging around his fans, he tends to ask if they have a mirror to look at himself with. Don’t let his vanity fool you! He’s funny, incredibly easy to be with, and willing to treat people to drinks. He writes most of the lyrics for the group’s songs.

A Settle in your new home at Level 2 to find new roommates and say hello to your neighbors! City officials will give you directions to the designated districts across Level 2 and instruct you to pick out a unit. Each apartment complex has a different aesthetic, some may look cozy, some stylish, and some bizarre. The free accommodations have a basic living space that can only fit two or three people at most in one unit.
Starter Chromaspace furnishings are provided which can be controlled with the touch of a built-in panel. Examples are color-changing curtains, transforming sofa beds, cabinets turning into tables, etc. Customizing your apartment or moving out will have to wait until you earn more chroma. Until then, why don’t you check out your new neighborhood or explore the city levels? Maybe your new roommates or neighbors can give you a “hand” with allowance for dinner.

B Be a part of *BTSB's Prismagram campaign and get a chance to win a physical copy of their album and backstage passes to their upcoming concert! Simply take a picture of you and your friends with official merchandise and post it on Prismagram with the hashtag #WeAreBTSB. Be careful, though: touching *BTSB merchandise tends to make people crush on the first face they see. The posts with the best pictures and stories will get their prizes in the mail on the 24th.
Why would a Moonblessed want to meet them, you ask? Community spirit! A sizable portion of the locals will start singing or dancing with you and your friends! “I want it another way. Tell me why? I never want to hear you say, I wish it wasn't that way. Don't be that way!” Play along and they’ll be willing to pardon your unpaid meal tab for one time or offer an incredible discount for one item you really wanted at the mall. The boys are also considered talented magic users in their own right. They might have some spells and magic tools to add to a Moonblessed's arsenal!

C Every hour, you will receive a text from the official *BTSB fanclub with a link to a poll. The texts will not stop unless you answer the poll. Please answer it ICly, as the answers will affect the event later this month!
Upon voting on the poll, you will be redirected to a video and text chatroom where you will be connected to a random stranger who has also answered the poll. Both you and the stranger will then need to answer the following questions:
- Do you think the other person in this chatroom can be your fire? One of your many desires? Tell me why. Be honest.
- Among the Moonblessed, who do you think is tasty? The tastiest?
Until both questions are answered truthfully, it will be impossible to switch apps, close the app, or delete it entirely.

I only just arrived myself, so I can't say I'm particularly well-versed in all things *BTSB either! But the atmosphere here is infectious, non?
[It seems that Wesker's general demeanour isn't doing anything to dissuade Sycamore from chatting - if anything, he enjoys the strong silent type! So have (yet another) smile.]
I do love a good party, after all!
no subject
Things tend to be like this around here, so you'll be in good company.
[Lunatia sure does love its events and parties...]
Hopefully it's been treating you decently so far, at least.
no subject
I have no complaints so far! Ah, but if I may use my intuition-
[-it's rather good, you know!-]
-I take it you are not a native of this delightful city?
[This man hasn't said anything outright about being from here or there, but...it's not difficult to make the assumption. Particularly since ever local he's come across has been excited about the boy group to the point of obsession...]
no subject
[He doesn't sound troubled at all, however; the question is light, easy enough.]
I arrived six months ago. So I haven't been here as long as some, but long enough.
no subject
[Six months...today has definitely been fun, there's no question, but Sycamore is fairly positive he would. much prefer to be heading home well before he hits the six month mark.
It doesn't bode well and he can't say he's too impressed to hear that this may be a rather long leave of absence, but the easy smile doesn't disappear from his face.]
How fortuitous for me that we have met, however! If I am going to be spending a lot of time in Lunatia, it seems I must quickly learn how to be a good citizen! Would you indulge me and answer a few questions?
[How odd it is, to play the student instead of the teacher! At least he's a fast learner, all things considered.]
I promise I won't force any more boy-band cards on you; unless you'd like some, of course. Otherwise I'd love to buy you a coffee in exchange for your time!
[beat.]
Ah, provided I am not intruding, of course!
no subject
I wouldn't say you're intruding, no.
[...UH]
I...don't believe we've even met properly, all things considered. You would be...?
[Nailed it.]
no subject
....grinning the whole time, of course.]
Ah, of course, how incredibly rude of me! I haven't even introduced myself!
[Which apparently had no bearing whatsoever on his coffee invitation, but! Desperate times call for desperate measures! Have a rather flamboyant flourish.]
My name is Professor Augustine Sycamore. I am a researcher from the Kalos region! Feel free to simply call me by my last name. Or my first! Or my title! It matters not to me, mon ami! You may call me what you like!
[Laughing softly, Sycamore returns his hands to his pockets.]
And to whom am I speaking?
no subject
...what are those
Give him a moment to correct himself and go back to generally looking at you, it's hard to tell if he's making eye contact given the dark glasses but he's at least presumably looking at you.]
...Albert Wesker. Likewise a researcher, though the term is a bit broad, I admit... I specialize in virology. American to begin with, though I can't say I call any specific place home nowadays. I...
[...what are those...]
...find myself completely unfamiliar with your friends.
no subject
Anyway! Said friends are currently gathered around Sycamore's legs (Chespin may or may not be clinging to his pants), looking curiously up at this new person. With another grin, Sycamore leans down and picks up Fennekin, cradling him gently in his arms.]
And I here I thought I would be the curious one. But it is natural for a researcher to indulge his curiosity, non?
[...Fennekin you are so fluffy, wow, he isn't putting you down for a while-]
These are my Pokemon! They're native to Kalos. I'm going to use my intuition again-
[-it really is very good, honestly-]
-and guess that you've never heard of them? I'm yet to spot any around here, so.
no subject
[...This doesn't surprise him, but then he kind of stopped being surprised by most things a few months ago, as far as this place goes.]
You'll find people here from many different worlds, really. Some may have creatures like those, some may not. None of them are completely without something unique, from what I've heard; I've only spoken to one person from a world that seems completely devoid of anything that I would consider abnormal, and that hardly means there's nothing there, simply that she may not be aware of it.
[Consider this your first lesson, he supposes - welcome to the multiverse hub, we're all fuckin' weird here.]
no subject
Look at this! I haven't even made good on my offer of caffeine, and you're giving me such helpful information. It's truly wonderful of you!
[Free information is the best kind of information! Not that he's intending to go back on his word, though; there's a simple joy in buying coffee for others. A small gesture, but such a pleasant one.
Speaking of which-]
Would you care to hold him, mon ami? I do love a bit of physical research, myself. One can't constantly be confined to the books!
[You're being offered a very small, fluffy fox-creature. Said fox-creature looks fairly unconcerned with whomever is holding him, as long as one of you idiots pats him! Please!!]
Careful now - he breathes fire. But only if he's upset!
[....a very small, fluffy fox-creature that...apparently breathes fire because why mention that at the start when you can save it until the end??]
no subject
[It's sort of a lot to take in at once - he isn't quite sure when we graduated to "mon ami" but here we are, he's being verbally headpatted for literally the first time in his miserable goddamn life and yet for some reason he isn't finding it condescending, he's being handed a small fuzzy flamethrower and he doesn't remember actually deciding to take the thing but he's accepting it, carefully, like he's going to break it or drop it or something otherwise, and he's really not accustomed to holding animals but this one seems fairly straightforward, and. and. and.
It's been a long while since he's been caught off-guard like this, and while a good amount of him still doesn't trust like this, he takes some solace in the notion that if this person is trying to mug him he picked the wrong target entirely. For the time being, he'll just...let the weird little fox settle a bit before kind of petting him like one would an unfamiliar but apparently docile cat.]
I... Well, I know of a café somewhat near here, if that's still what you want to do.
[...Awkward...pettings...]
no subject
Look at that. I think you've made a friend! He'll never move, now.
[Guess you're stuck with all four of them! Gosh, what a completely unexpected consequence! If only someone could have seen this coming...
...heh~]
And that cafe sounds lovely. I'm more than willing to take recommendations! All I've done since I've been here is dance, and I do love to have a reliable source of coffee around. Shall we?
[...oops, one quick thing-]
Ah, do you prefer Albert or Wesker, by the way? I do like to get these things correct.
no subject
Anyway.]
'Wesker' is fine.
[Let's go, it's over this way, and also he'd prefer not getting dragged into dancing with anybody because he doesn't...dance, um.]
I'm afraid I don't have many recommendations for you outside of this. I tend to not spend much time out in the city.
no subject
[To the cafe? To the cafe! Sycamore will start humming a tune as they walk, taking in all of the weird and wonderful sights Lunatia has to offer. It's no Lumiose City - nothing, and he means nothing, can compare to Kalos' capitol - but it's a visual feast none the less.
It's also rather nice to be wandering it with a new friend, so! Hopefully you're managing alright with all that Fennekin-wrangling he's got you doing.]
Not a fan of the hustle and bustle, then? I can respect that.
[This one doesn't really seem like the overly-sociable type. Not that that's a bad thing! If he can lean once again on his intuition...probably the sort that stays in his laboratory unless he's dragged out into the streets, usually for...coffee...
...ah. That thought train will be nipped in the bud rather quickly. Ahem.]
I'm just happy to have another Magikarp-out-of-water to talk to! I apologise in advance for all the questions I'm going to ask you.
no subject
[There isn't much warmth to it, but he isn't precisely a warm person, when it comes down to it. Just the same, if he didn't have any interest in being here, he simply wouldn't be here.]
I admit that I have questions of my own, should you be unopposed to answering them.
no subject
Of course, mon ami. Feel free to ask me anything you like.
[Here we are! Shall we sit?]
no subject
It's nothing pressing. I just believe that when given the opportunity to talk to people from different worlds, it would be a bit remiss not to take it.
But seeing as it's a matter of mere curiosity and not anything immediately relevant, you're welcome to start.
no subject
His master, on the other hand, is still a ball of energy even though they're seated, in a way that makes one think 'does this man really need caffeine'?]
Ah, thank you, thank you! Goodness, I almost don't know where to start.
[....ah, actually, there was....one thing....]
One of those odd doctors told me I was blessed by Iris, and the locals around here have been talking about 'moonlacing' and 'moonblessings'. I've gathered what Chroma is-
[-since, you know, he's shouting-]
-and how the 'moonlacing' works, but there seems to be more to this 'blessing' that I do not know about. I don't suppose you can shed some light for me?
no subject
[...He will actually run you through the Iris changes, don't worry. He's very clinical in his explanations, but he's blunt and he's thorough, so at least there's that. Look at all this quality RP.]
no subject
...okay no here we are-]
Ah, I...see. That's...
[Well. He can't say he expected...all of that everything, um. Running his fingers through his hair, he leans back in his seat and looks at the ceiling.]
Is it possible to control these urges? I must admit, I do not like the thought of turning into a...
[...it wouldn't be a Pokemon, what...is a suitable other word-]
....a creature. All this to earn Chroma, is it? My goodness.
no subject
[He's keeping an eye on the guy as he says it, though; he actually does have some gauge of when to back off if someone is getting overwhelmed, there's hardly any sense in making him unduly upset over the whole thing. But the fact of the matter is that this is a lot, and it's rather unpleasant business all around as far as he's concerned.]
For what it's worth, I'm likewise under Iris. I haven't found it to be unbearable, or even all that unfortunate, personally.
no subject
Perhaps he'll feel differently after going through his first Iris moon, but for now...what luck he has had, running into this Wesker! Not only is he also a foreigner, but they share a moon...it would be foolish to squander this opportunity.]
Well, I'm glad to hear that you're managing it alright! I suppose there are far worse things to suffer, at the end of the day.
[He's far too polite to mention it to someone he's just met, but Sycamore....can't say he's too bothered by the whole 'have a lot of sex to earn money, also it will feel AMAZING' vibe Lunatia has going on. That is one newsletter he's happy to subscribe to, ahem...]
What is the most memorable event you've experienced, while under Iris' influence? If it isn't too personal a question. I'm finding it harder and harder to contain my curiosity!
no subject
The physical changes are likely of most interest to me, simply because such a thing is inherently fascinating. Otherwise, it affects my personality in ways I don't particularly care for, so I don't often spend those days in the company of others. I mostly stay to myself - not a terribly interesting answer, unfortunately.
[So it goes, really.]
Most of my time is spent in such a way - it's unusual that I was out today, actually.
no subject
[The waitress who brings their drinks (that they totally ordered) gets a friendly smile and a brief moment of small-talk; not enough to make Sycamore seem like he is ignoring his companion, but just enough so that she feels included. Acknowledged.]
It truly is my lucky day, then! To have caught you on a rare outing, when you are both new to this world and a fellow bearer of Iris' blessing...it's as if our meeting was fated!
[Sycamore is undoubtedly happy, but there's something about all this - the sitting at a cafe, Wesker's demeanour, the topics they're discussing - something that feels nostalgic in a way that burns. Not powerfully, or destructively, but in a way that feels like an ache. A wound that isn't healing.
...
...he can't...dwell on this. Moving on...]
I think I have asked enough questions for now, mon ami. Please, have your turn! What information can I provide for you?
