You awaken amidst the darkness with only a faint light to greet you. Your body is hemmed in by shards of crystals, gently sparkling and possibly pricking your skin. The surrounding landscape is dyed in the pinks and purples of the dusk filled with crystals protruding from the ground, some as large as a skyscraper. After an hour or two of wandering through the crystal wilderness, a group of people find you worse for wear. They are the gallant Moon Knights from the planet of Prismatica. Because of the strange phenomena during the past months when scientists observed the sudden appearance of rainbow crystals in the sky, the government has been feverishly combing through the moon for more Moonblessed to be rescued. You’ll eventually be brought into Iris’s moon government center.

You all may have your usual inquiries — Where are we? Who are you? What's going on? — and the Prismals are almost too eager to answer. They tell you about their world and about the first appearance of the Moonblessed as the medical staff give you an examination to make sure you’re not carrying any viruses or biological hazards. If you react violently, you may be restrained and nerfed with a specialized neurotransmitting gun that releases a numbing agent through the top of your spine. Once the examinations are over, you’re informed that you will be provided accommodations on their planet during your stay. You will then be escorted to the docks, and led onto a large transport vessel that makes frequent trips back and forth between the Iris moon and the planet. Faces onboard vary from both old and new Moonblessed as well as the local Prismals.

Welcome to Prismatica’s hub, Lunatia, the city of your dreams! A bustling metropolis lush with bright lights, vibrant colors, luxuriant plant life, and all the conveniences of technology absent from your own world… It seems like paradise to all the uninitiated. After a quick tour of the city, new arrivals can find themselves getting cozy in their new homes.

A Settle in your new home at Level 2 to find new roommates and say hello to your neighbors! City officials will give you directions to the designated districts across Level 2 and instruct you to pick out a unit. Each apartment complex has a different aesthetic, some may look cozy, some stylish, and some bizarre. The free accommodations have a basic living space that can only fit two or three people at most in one unit.

Starter Chromaspace furnishings are provided which can be controlled with the touch of a built-in panel. Examples are color-changing curtains, transforming sofa beds, cabinets turning into tables, etc. Customizing your apartment or moving out will have to wait until you earn more chroma. Until then, why don’t you check out your new neighborhood or explore the city levels? Maybe your new roommates or neighbors can give you a “hand” with allowance for dinner.

Oh my god, they're back again. After taking more than a year-long hiatus, *BTSB (Backstay Sailor Boys) takes the planet by storm once more with their latest single, Anybody (Yeah). With an album out and a concert on the way, the five-man fox Prismal group from Amegahara has been busy with promotions. Their appearances on billboard ads, magazines, TV shows, et cetera make their worldwide handsome faces pretty hard to miss! Everyone and their pet robot in Lunatia can be found jamming to their songs, and every teenager on the street can tell you who their bias is and why.

B Be a part of *BTSB's Prismagram campaign and get a chance to win a physical copy of their album and backstage passes to their upcoming concert! Simply take a picture of you and your friends with official merchandise and post it on Prismagram with the hashtag #WeAreBTSB. Be careful, though: touching *BTSB merchandise tends to make people crush on the first face they see. The posts with the best pictures and stories will get their prizes in the mail on the 24th.

Why would a Moonblessed want to meet them, you ask? Community spirit! A sizable portion of the locals will start singing or dancing with you and your friends! “I want it another way. Tell me why? I never want to hear you say, I wish it wasn't that way. Don't be that way!” Play along and they’ll be willing to pardon your unpaid meal tab for one time or offer an incredible discount for one item you really wanted at the mall. The boys are also considered talented magic users in their own right. They might have some spells and magic tools to add to a Moonblessed's arsenal!

▶ What’s the Deal With This Pop Life?

Before you meet these foxy boys, you'll want to do your research on them. Thankfully, their ridiculously huge fanbase (who refer to themselves as NAVY) has already done the work for you.

Suzaku is the leader and the brains of the group. Both his witty, rapid-fire raps and lightning-fast spinning breakdances are known throughout the planet. He is also a newscaster and likes making informative but interesting Prismagram posts. His brother is also an idol, albeit a washed up one-hit wonder.

Kaya is the group's down-to-earth mom friend and soulful vocals. He is the most responsible of the boys and handles their meals and laundry. A former delinquent in his youth, he now spends his free time cooking for schoolchildren and advocating fox rights. He does not support fox pelt products and owns an animal shelter for strays.

Lecter is a dancer who oozes with sex appeal. If not in the studio, he is always hitting up the gym. Once a member of the Little Moonblessings Club in his childhood, he has grown out of his boy-next-door image. Currently, he is #2 on Prismal Magazine's Top 100 Sexiest Men Alive for his well-built frame and photogenic looks. Contrary to his cool appearance and reserved demeanor, he is surprisingly personable. He is also a prolific actor. He likes cats.

Tarn is the baby of the group who maintains a gaming channel. He often does spontaneous livestreams where he does Let’s Play sessions, live Q&As, and encourages people to make memes of his face. He jokes about playing more LmaO than going to practice but he’s got clear and strong vocals.

Rasha is a narcissistic man who can’t get enough of his fans and himself. When hanging around his fans, he tends to ask if they have a mirror to look at himself with. Don’t let his vanity fool you! He’s funny, incredibly easy to be with, and willing to treat people to drinks. He writes most of the lyrics for the group’s songs.

[ He makes an incoherent noise at that. Finding yourself in an alien planet is already weird enough, but trying to make money and a livelihood here and learning how to do that? Good lord. Lelouch has already decided he doesn't want to moonlace more than handholding, which means he will have a difficult time buying food and meeting day to day expenses, but that's fine... It's better than . . . being close to someone.

Euphie, though... Oh god— ]

Eugh!

[ HE JUST. THOUGHT OF EUPHIE. KISSING PEOPLE???? She's his sister, and he is protective of her, so he— he has to make sure Euphie doesn't kiss anyone?! Now he sounds bothered and looks absolutely bothered by all this as they walk!!!!!!!! ]

[Honestly, being close to someone doesn't seem bad but she also already has someone she really cares about and for. So she would prefer to have that options though holding hands with Lelouch wouldn't be different from when they were kids.

His next reaction only earns her blushing brighter and she puffs her cheeks.]

L-Lelouch! What was that response for?

[So protective!]

... It's nothing! [ Why would he, a commoner, totally react to a princess being close to someone else?! Oh, that's right! Because said commoner happens to be just pretending, and is actually her older brother! Lelouch's shoulders grow stiff, and he huffs— as if that would clear things up! His cheeks have turned a little red, and those violet eyes of his that have always screamed royalty are wide. ] Absolutely nothing!

[ His voice cracked... ]

[As she watches him getting more sense she wonders what he could be thinking. Then she remembers the talk she's had with her sister. Now Lelouch wasn't lewd enough to think that of her right but he was thinking it. Face a brighter red she hits softly on his back.]

Lelouch! How can you be like that?

[She covers her face as she does she thinks of Suzaku and her face burns hotter. Oh no.]

[ She just... She just hit him! Euphemia! Granted, it's not a very hard hit, but Lelouch fumbles almost all the time. He coughs and clears his throat, as if that would... help him. It does, a little, especially with how he feels absolutely parched at this time! ]

You're almost of age— I assume you would have met a lot of potential beaus by now. [ Lelouch isn't really sure just how things proceeded in Britannia since he was... well, in Japan, and all, but—

Man, how these words sting, though. Saying them out loud to someone who will eventually die, who won't experience eternal love... To the woman he loved, too... He takes a deep breath and places a hand on his chest. His expression is a little less bothered now, but more concerned. ] I guess I really am your big brother, no matter how you look at things, huh?

[ Because he will become protective of her, making sure that whoever she even holds hands with is a respectable person.

At the very least, Euphemia deserves the world here. ]

[Ehhh!? Lelouch!

Face still burning up she shakes her head side to side rather quickly then covering her burning cheeks with her hands. This was a lot to talk about while walking. Why was she having to talk about this with her brother? It was really embarrassing.

About to fuss more about him being too protective she stops. Hearing him say that struck a cord with her and, even with cheeks still red, she nods. There was something comforting about him being so protective over her like this. Like they never stopped being together as siblings. She had grieved Nunnally and Lelouch so when she discovered they were alive it was a relief if not a little mixed at the same time.]

Mn, you're still so gentle with me, Lelouch.

[Smiling at him she moves closer smoothing a hand over his back.]

Sorry for hitting you.

I'm... [ What is he supposed to apologise for? Being a brother? Probably. Especially after what Lelouch did to her, he doesn't really deserve to be Euphemia's brother. Or Euphemia's friend. The very thought of never seeing Euphie again, just purely ignoring her after today, occurs to him, and he weighs the pros and cons of it.

Lelouch is, at his core, still someone who loves his family, though. While he may not deserve Euphemia's time or her love, he still wants it.

This is tough. ]

That's alright. I should be sorry. [ For everything, really, but he makes it sound like he's only apologising for thinking about her kissing other boys??? Or girls? Nina loves her so much, after all... Huh!

When Euphemia rubs his back, though, he can feel something good— warm, even. It's not the usual sort of comfort one would receive from a loved one. It's more. Momentarily, he freezes, then looks at her, a little confused. But it occurs to him that this could be Chroma flowing between the two of them.]

Is this considered moonlacing, too? I didn't know.

[There was no reason, in her eyes, that he should apologize for being her big brother. He wants her safe and she appreciates that and cherishes it. Though he seems to still have something on his mind that she can't seem to understand. Lelouch could be complicated with his feelings but she trusts her brother.]

No need for that, please don't worry.

[That warmth and feeling of more? It was new and as she presses her hands to his back she tries something. Gently she presses her face to his back. It felt like a small jolt accompanied by the sudden warmth. With a surprise squeak she looks at Lelouch.]

Maybe? They did say...that it could be something smaller too, right?

[ In the same way that Lelouch froze earlier when he saw Euphemia, he's stiff and cold now when he feels her rest on his back. Ah— god... There's no part of him that didn't miss this, but he's so terrified now. He's going to lose this, he knows it. One day, he's going to lose this moment forever.

He can't get too close.

But... It's Euphemia, who's getting a second chance here. No— not even a second chance, because it doesn't seem that she knows of her fate just yet. Reality is simply giving her a better chance. His eyes close, lashes fluttering for a few moments before he listens to his own heartbeat. It's quick at first, racing, even, 'til it calms down.

He won't be selfish at this time. If he acts like a brother to Euphemia, it's because Euphemia deserves it. Lelouch likely won't apologise for what he does to Euphemia in her future—it was necessary, as bitterly regretful as it was—but he can at least give her everything she wants here. ]

Something smaller, so long as there's physical contact. [ Slowly, so that Euphemia doesn't fall over, he turns around to face her. He takes her hand in his, holding it up to her eye level. His own is shaking, nervous. It's not her fault— he's just scared of being close to anybody now, but he's fighting the lightheadedness that's come his way. ] Even something like this, between the two of us, is already generating Chroma.

Does it feel good?

[Unaware of her future she is just enjoying any time she gets with her brother. It felt like how it used to be and she wouldn't trade that for the world.

The warmth and chroma earns a giggle from her. It was really nice. Warm and welcoming against him. At first she doesn't want to move so when he does she pouts for a moment before seeing him holding her hand. Violet eyes look down at their hands and the warmth that was flowing between them. It was something really nice to feel...this was moonblessing? Euphie could only imagine how extreme this sensation could get.]

It's amazing...this planet is remarkable.

It does, does it feel good for you?

[ EUPHIE, DON'T THINK ABOUT DOING MORE WITH ANYONE, OKAY... ]

It does. [ He can feel the Chroma being generated, flowing in his veins, providing him energy. In some ways, he feels rejuvenated. In other ways, it feels warm, far more than the sensation of holding hands with someone. Not that Lelouch is very familiar with it to begin with... It's been months since he last held Nunnally's hand. Nor has held anyone in his arms, for that matter... and yet. . . here he is, familiar with the feeling, nevertheless. ] Far too good.

[ Too good for someone like him, even, even if it's just their palms touching. Slowly, if Euphie would be receptive to it, he begins to fold his fingers, lacing his with her own. The Chroma generation is far more potent now, and he does his best to contain himself, but the feeling is overwhelming.

He almost wants to cry. ]

There's more now.

[LELOUCH.]

They did mention Chroma is used for all matters of things, right? At least it seems to be something to easily obtain if it works like this?

[Holding Lelouch's hand was welcoming and warm. This world really didn't want them to shy from touch? It would be hard to resist it when it felt this enjoyable. Though it was more that familiar bond for Euphie to have something she missed with Lelouch because he was believed to be dead. Since she discovered he was alive she had wished for more time with her brother.

As he laces there fingers she does feel the rush of energy and it makes her blush. His expression make her concerned though and she squeezes his hand tightly.]

Lelouch, I'm glad we get to spend more normal time together...

[ It's time they'll never have, Lelouch thinks to himself. This is a time they'll only have here. ]

This is also giving us enough money to spend on tea and crepes. We're killing two birds with one stone, Euphie.

[ Though... Lelouch lets go, as much as he would like to keep holding Euphemia's hand. They have enough now, he thinks. In fact, he fishes out the device he's received from one of the Moon Knights to check just how much Chroma he possesses now. It's something to compare later on once they find a coffee shop and check out the prices.

This is fine, he thinks... Moonlacing with Euphemia wasn't so difficult. Admittedly, his hand feels cold all of a sudden, and it's shaking yet again as he looks at it. His fingers twitch before he decides to pocket both his hands. As much as he would like to keep holding Euphie's hand, he shouldn't be holding the hand of a princess... They're supposed to be undercover, after all.

Not to mention, he'd be spoiling himself a little too much. ]

[It might sound a little spoiled but she's never had to really worry about money before...so this might be a new experience for her in many ways. Here she really could be just like everyone else.

A little sad at the loss of his hand she doesn't make a fuss. Instead resting her hands on the front of her dress as they walk. The sudden lack of chroma is felt for sure. Still if it was that simple to earn chroma they might be okay here with the minimum.]

What kind of tea do you want to have today?

Darjeeling is always easy to make. I'm sure even an alien planet has something similar to it.

[ They reach the shopping district, and it's very colourful and lively. Lelouch isn't quite sure where to head at this time, but there's a sign that reads "Dream Beans" just a little ways ahead. The sign itself is a little rustic, and not at all colourful, which is a contrast to the rest of the place. All the more reason for him to lead Euphie there. It doesn't seem lively, and there aren't any kids running around. It's perfect for a place to relax.

The cafe itself is quaint, dark wood paints the floors and bricks line the walls, and cute fluorescent lightbulbs are all over the place. It seems it's one of those cafes where you have to order at the counter, though, and the menu is flashed overhead. There's a wide array of cakes and bread being displayed for snacks, should patrons want something to eat, and the drinks they served are all kinds of hot and iced tea, and hot and iced coffees. ]

Euphie, [ He gestures for her to go in front, to place her order first. ] Go ahead. I need some time to decide.

[ And he still stand there for five minutes reading the various descriptions because he's a pedantic brat over tea and coffee... ]

Hm, I think I've had that once.

[As she follows store keepers and locals are so friendly and wave. Though she does begin to notice it seems very likely most don't know who they are. If that's the case that means she might be able to be like everyone else here...that would be a thought and possibility.

In the cafe it was quite cute and she looks around in amazement. There were so many choices and she looks at the menu then back to the cakes. Looking at Lelouch she giggles softly, he always had been picky with foods and drinks growing up.]

Alright.

[Speaking with a smile she asked for the earl grey tea and a slice of the strawberry cake.]

[ There are so many kinds of tea... Lelouch had made up his mind about Darjeeling earlier, but now that he's presented almost 30 kinds, with most of them sounding very foreign, his curiosity's been piqued. And it really does take him some time after Euphie orders for him to step forward and tell the cashier that he'd like to order a slice of banana bread. Then he asks what sort of tea goes best with it, and decides for the better to just take the lady's suggestion.

He can be a little carefree in a planet where no one knows who he is. No one but the bundle of joy with him, anyway.

With their orders placed, Lelouch pays. There's a panel presented to him, and he looks a little confused at Euphemia at first. The lady explains that that's how Chroma transactions are made. That makes sense... Lelouch puts his hand on the panel where he can feel some Chroma siphoned off him. How... odd. He's learning more about how the world works from experience.

They're told that their orders will be served to them, so he just lets Euphie pick out a table for the two of them to sit down in. ]

For a small place, they have a lot of selections.

[The choices were plentiful but she wanted something she knew today. Perhaps she will try something newer tomorrow? As he orders she was curious how the payments work here. So when the panel appears and she watches her brother she blinks surprised by it.

Next to him she points out a table.]

Were you okay paying it all?

[She didn't want to cause him a lot of trouble when they both had more chroma now.

At the table she get comfortable.]

I was surprised to see so many...is it maybe the influence of having people from different worlds?

It's possible. I'd want to read up on the local plant life to see for myself.

[ Maybe he'll grow his own tea leaves in his apartment... No, wait— why is he thinking about that now? ]

I've received a good amount of Chroma from merely holding your hand earlier. It was enough to pay for it, although I'll have to find another way to pay for dinner later.

Heh, that's just like you. You always want to have all the details, right?

[Euphie was giggling at her brother. Lelouch always was the type to know all of the details.]

Dinner? I could help with dinner.

It's very important to know as much as you can.

[ Euphie, please... You need to worry a little. ]

Is that so? You'll hold my hand again?

I know but it's always like you can see your gears turning in your head.

[She couldn't help herself.]

We could, I don't mind holding you hand.

Since you'll benefit from it too, I guess it's fine.

[ He'll moonlace for Euphie, not for himself. And if Euphie needs anything, he'll spend his own Chroma for it than have her use her own up. ]

Well just getting to be around you like this, makes me happy.

[The chroma was a nice addition but not a deal breaker for her.]

Better me than a stranger, I suppose.
