You awaken amidst the darkness with only a faint light to greet you. Your body is hemmed in by shards of crystals, gently sparkling and possibly pricking your skin. The surrounding landscape is dyed in the pinks and purples of the dusk filled with crystals protruding from the ground, some as large as a skyscraper. After an hour or two of wandering through the crystal wilderness, a group of people find you worse for wear. They are the gallant Moon Knights from the planet of Prismatica. Because of the strange phenomena during the past months when scientists observed the sudden appearance of rainbow crystals in the sky, the government has been feverishly combing through the moon for more Moonblessed to be rescued. You’ll eventually be brought into Iris’s moon government center.

You all may have your usual inquiries — Where are we? Who are you? What's going on? — and the Prismals are almost too eager to answer. They tell you about their world and about the first appearance of the Moonblessed as the medical staff give you an examination to make sure you’re not carrying any viruses or biological hazards. If you react violently, you may be restrained and nerfed with a specialized neurotransmitting gun that releases a numbing agent through the top of your spine. Once the examinations are over, you’re informed that you will be provided accommodations on their planet during your stay. You will then be escorted to the docks, and led onto a large transport vessel that makes frequent trips back and forth between the Iris moon and the planet. Faces onboard vary from both old and new Moonblessed as well as the local Prismals.

Welcome to Prismatica’s hub, Lunatia, the city of your dreams! A bustling metropolis lush with bright lights, vibrant colors, luxuriant plant life, and all the conveniences of technology absent from your own world… It seems like paradise to all the uninitiated. After a quick tour of the city, new arrivals can find themselves getting cozy in their new homes.

A Settle in your new home at Level 2 to find new roommates and say hello to your neighbors! City officials will give you directions to the designated districts across Level 2 and instruct you to pick out a unit. Each apartment complex has a different aesthetic, some may look cozy, some stylish, and some bizarre. The free accommodations have a basic living space that can only fit two or three people at most in one unit.

Starter Chromaspace furnishings are provided which can be controlled with the touch of a built-in panel. Examples are color-changing curtains, transforming sofa beds, cabinets turning into tables, etc. Customizing your apartment or moving out will have to wait until you earn more chroma. Until then, why don’t you check out your new neighborhood or explore the city levels? Maybe your new roommates or neighbors can give you a “hand” with allowance for dinner.

Oh my god, they're back again. After taking more than a year-long hiatus, *BTSB (Backstay Sailor Boys) takes the planet by storm once more with their latest single, Anybody (Yeah). With an album out and a concert on the way, the five-man fox Prismal group from Amegahara has been busy with promotions. Their appearances on billboard ads, magazines, TV shows, et cetera make their worldwide handsome faces pretty hard to miss! Everyone and their pet robot in Lunatia can be found jamming to their songs, and every teenager on the street can tell you who their bias is and why.

B Be a part of *BTSB's Prismagram campaign and get a chance to win a physical copy of their album and backstage passes to their upcoming concert! Simply take a picture of you and your friends with official merchandise and post it on Prismagram with the hashtag #WeAreBTSB. Be careful, though: touching *BTSB merchandise tends to make people crush on the first face they see. The posts with the best pictures and stories will get their prizes in the mail on the 24th.

Why would a Moonblessed want to meet them, you ask? Community spirit! A sizable portion of the locals will start singing or dancing with you and your friends! “I want it another way. Tell me why? I never want to hear you say, I wish it wasn't that way. Don't be that way!” Play along and they’ll be willing to pardon your unpaid meal tab for one time or offer an incredible discount for one item you really wanted at the mall. The boys are also considered talented magic users in their own right. They might have some spells and magic tools to add to a Moonblessed's arsenal!

▶ What’s the Deal With This Pop Life?

Before you meet these foxy boys, you'll want to do your research on them. Thankfully, their ridiculously huge fanbase (who refer to themselves as NAVY) has already done the work for you.

Suzaku is the leader and the brains of the group. Both his witty, rapid-fire raps and lightning-fast spinning breakdances are known throughout the planet. He is also a newscaster and likes making informative but interesting Prismagram posts. His brother is also an idol, albeit a washed up one-hit wonder.

Kaya is the group's down-to-earth mom friend and soulful vocals. He is the most responsible of the boys and handles their meals and laundry. A former delinquent in his youth, he now spends his free time cooking for schoolchildren and advocating fox rights. He does not support fox pelt products and owns an animal shelter for strays.

Lecter is a dancer who oozes with sex appeal. If not in the studio, he is always hitting up the gym. Once a member of the Little Moonblessings Club in his childhood, he has grown out of his boy-next-door image. Currently, he is #2 on Prismal Magazine's Top 100 Sexiest Men Alive for his well-built frame and photogenic looks. Contrary to his cool appearance and reserved demeanor, he is surprisingly personable. He is also a prolific actor. He likes cats.

Tarn is the baby of the group who maintains a gaming channel. He often does spontaneous livestreams where he does Let’s Play sessions, live Q&As, and encourages people to make memes of his face. He jokes about playing more LmaO than going to practice but he’s got clear and strong vocals.

Rasha is a narcissistic man who can’t get enough of his fans and himself. When hanging around his fans, he tends to ask if they have a mirror to look at himself with. Don’t let his vanity fool you! He’s funny, incredibly easy to be with, and willing to treat people to drinks. He writes most of the lyrics for the group’s songs.

C Every hour, you will receive a text from the official *BTSB fanclub with a link to a poll. The texts will not stop unless you answer the poll. Please answer it ICly, as the answers will affect the event later this month!

[Its a warmth he feels this time, though its also a warmth he definitely doesn't deserve. He can't bring himself to reject her kindness, though.]

It's all right. I... [he thought he was losing his mind when he saw her, but he isn't going to tell her that. Instead, he settles in a gentle smile, one that's still a little sad and doesn't quite make it to his eyes, but he's trying.] I'm glad to see you too.

[With Euphie there was very little chance he would let him reject her. She fought to help people see his value and she was still very much in love with her knight.]

Mn, it's a relief. I was worried you weren't here. [A soft giggle as she pushes some hair from his face.] This place...is rather shocking though, so I understand your surprise.

[Now that the shock has mostly worn off, his brain loops around to the fact that Euphie is... Euphie. And not a murder calling for the death of all Japanese.

He's kind of afraid to ask.

Actually, no, he's terrified of asking, so he doesn't, and picks an entirely different line of questioning.]

Looks like you don't have to worry now. How long have you been here, though?

[Even if he asked she would never wish such a thing. It would pain her to even imagine.

The subject change is a good one and she sees her knight perking up a little.]

I'm glad...this place would have been more troubling... [Her voice trails off and she blushes before shaking her head. No, she can't think of that right now.]

Mn, a few hours now? What about you?

Hm?

[He catches where she trails off, but moonlacing is far from his mind right now that the allusion to it goes right over his head.]

I've only been here for about half a day. [Though it felt longer, considering he was tethered to Lelouch (a name he is decidedly not going to mention to her) for a good chunk of it.] It seems rather peaceful here, though. Most of the natives I've encountered have been friendly. I don't see where you'd have had much trouble without me.

...did something happen?

[She wouldn't normally think of such things but she is a romantic and the locals were pretty...open about talking about such matters.]

Hm, then not much longer than me? [Suzaku's comment does make her face turn a slight red again. Really, men could be rather dense in the matter she learned but perhaps it was a better conversation to not have in public. Still...]

They are quite kind and friendly here, which is really nice, it's just the matter of the moons that. Hm, I guess it's a silly thing to worry about.

[Taking his hand she smiles.] Would you mind accompanying me to find some new clothes?

The moons?

[He looks up at the sky and...

...]

...oh.

[That.

But before he can really process the implications of that she has his hand, and is asking about clothes.]

Uh.... Yeah. [Let's just focus on that for now. He gives her a smile.] I can help you find some new clothes.

[The moons were going to be rather interesting for sure. She was proactive in looking into what she could though and from what she learned the moons could have different intensities. Though depending on your moon it would affect different ways.

That alone makes her blush at the thought so the subject change was good for now. They could speak of the moons when they were perhaps in private.]

Thank you, Suzaku. [Holding his hand as they walk she doesn't seem to worry about the public seeing them. She hasn't run into anyone that knew who she was besides Lelouch of course.]

It seems like we can be normal people here, right?

[Its nice holding her hand while they walk, and not having to worry about any strange looks or anything of the sort. The world is peaceful... at least from what he's seen.]

Yeah... seems like no one has ever heard of Britannia around here.

[Which is good. It means that no one knows Euphie, or what happened to her. Well, none except for one person who Shall Not Be Named. None one knows what he's done (or is about to do) either, save for, again, that one person.

That person may have to die now.

Still, it means that Euphie can have the peaceful life here that she never did get back home.]

How does it feel being ordinary?

[Being close like this was a luxury they didn't get in public back home. They could only even speak of it in private but she truly does love Suzaku. Part of her wants to mention the new he would have heard back home after her talk with Zero but...that can wait.]

It seems that way, it's almost unbelievable, right? Back home there isn't a single person that doesn't know of it.

[Euphie has already spoken some to that person but she also doesn't want to give away Lelouch's secret either.

Right now they were like a normal...couple?

A soft giggle she squeezes his hand.]

Being normal is nice. No one talking about us or telling us to stop. If this is ordinary, I want this all the time.

Maybe you should stay here, live your life out as an ordinary girl.

[Even if it means he'll never see her again, it'll be fine. If she can live out her days in peace and be happy, it'll be worth it.]

Though I have a feeling you'll find a way to stand out from the crowd regardless.

Here? I would only want to be here if Suzaku was here. Without you it wouldn't feel like home.

[She admits as she continues to walk towards the window of a shop.]

Heh, that is a skill many say I have. Suzaku you are a lot like that too though. You always seem to make things that seem impossible happen. You stay by my side and help me with everything I want to try...

[Trailing off for a moment she turns to face him.]

I didn't want to tell you right away back home but...I gave up my right to the throne. It was to be announced at home.

[How is it she has the ability to so softly and gently tear his guts out?

There's no way he can stay, and he knows that. The world is on the brink of a war that he helped start, and he has to go back to see it through to victory. And even if he could stay, there isn't any way she'd want to be with him if she ever knew what he's done.

But while he's dealing with that gutting, she strikes him again.]

You wha--??? But...why? [And if she had, then why would Lelouch...?]

[There was no way she could ever hate him. Suzaku was the person she fell for and chose as her knight. In her eyes he was an amazing person and she wouldn't think less of him. She saw how much he tore himself up and she wanted him to start to love himself.

As expected he was confused and surprised. At the end of the day it was a major decision to make but she did it proudly.]

For me to create the Special Administrative zone it was necessary. More than that I wanted to live a normal life closer to Suzaku. Elevens deserved to have somewhere to be Japanese, so did you.

[The hand holding his tightens as she continues to look at him.]

[His guts aren't enough, she has to rip his heart out too. How can she be so kind and giving? It's cruel.]

But that means... you gave up everything...

[But then, why would...?! He had no reason to-- none! So then...]

It makes no sense. [He realizes belatedly that he said that thought out loud, and quickly covers for it.] You shouldn't have had to give up your birthright.

[Honestly, didn't have any idea she was being cruel in anyway.]

I did. Suzaku, remember when I ordered you to love me and in return I would love you? That hasn't changed.

[She offers a smile before she shakes her head.]

It was my choice. I rather people be happy and smile where they can be Japanese then have the throne. Plus, with my siblings there wasn't a lot of chance I would get the throne?

[Those words feel like an entire lifetime ago, but he remembers them, even if his soul got crushed under the weight of the grief that love.]

Euphie...

[He really doesn't deserve her, and she deserves far batter than what he can offer her. The Knight of Zero is everything she never wanted for him, but its a lie he has to keep going until the end. Its the only way to get to the peaceful world she wants, by violently destroying everyone and everything that gets in the way.

He can't tell her that, especially with the way she's smiling at him right now. He doesn't want to lose that smile again. Without thinking about it, though, he lets slip]

I really have missed you... [Which is probably an odd thing to say if she's last seen him only a day or so ago...]

[A curious tilt of her head she looks at him continuing her smile.

Never once would she regret her choice. She wants to see people smiling and being happy together. That was one of her greatest wishes. All her life she tried to be like her siblings but she wants to do things her own way. This was her way.

A small giggle escapes her as she leans in and pokes his chest.]

Miss me? It hasn't been that long right? Though I do miss you when we are apart. [Admitting it she blushes a little more looking to the side.]

Ah-- Right! [Idiot!] It's just... so much has happened that it feels like its been so long.

[...still, that begs the question.]

How long has it been?

[Euphemia pats his chest softly with that kind smile still present.]

It's okay, I know what you mean. Just being here for a few hours felt like days with all the excitement.

[Closing her eyes she thinks for a few moments then looks at Suzaku.]

Maybe an hour back home? We were at the Special Administrative Zone. You were waiting for me while Zero and I were going to speak.

...but you never got to actually have that conversation, did you?

[Conjecture on his part, but the lack of murderous rampage seems to be a big clue.]

No, not yet. We went to the room to speak.

[Euphie was a little curious as to why he was asking. He was there but she could assume he was curious about their conversation.]

[He's quiet for a moment, before his expression grows more serious, and he squeezes her hand a little tighter.]

Euphie, please, listen to me. Should Zero be brought here, you're not to talk to him alone. If he reaches out to you, call me, I'll be there.

I promise.

[Surprise paints her expression. Quiet for the moment she wonders why he is so worried but then she remembers he can't know Lelouch is Zero.. At all costs she must not tell anyone. On this planet she hopes Lelouch won't dawn the mask again.]

Suzaku... [Trailing off for a moment she composes herself and nods.]

I'll call you to let you know. I promise okay?

[He lets out a breath that he didn't even realize he was holding, a look of relief washing over him.]
