You awaken amidst the darkness with only a faint light to greet you. Your body is hemmed in by shards of crystals, gently sparkling and possibly pricking your skin. The surrounding landscape is dyed in the pinks and purples of the dusk filled with crystals protruding from the ground, some as large as a skyscraper. After an hour or two of wandering through the crystal wilderness, a group of people find you worse for wear. They are the gallant Moon Knights from the planet of Prismatica. Because of the strange phenomena during the past months when scientists observed the sudden appearance of rainbow crystals in the sky, the government has been feverishly combing through the moon for more Moonblessed to be rescued. You’ll eventually be brought into Iris’s moon government center.

You all may have your usual inquiries — Where are we? Who are you? What's going on? — and the Prismals are almost too eager to answer. They tell you about their world and about the first appearance of the Moonblessed as the medical staff give you an examination to make sure you’re not carrying any viruses or biological hazards. If you react violently, you may be restrained and nerfed with a specialized neurotransmitting gun that releases a numbing agent through the top of your spine. Once the examinations are over, you’re informed that you will be provided accommodations on their planet during your stay. You will then be escorted to the docks, and led onto a large transport vessel that makes frequent trips back and forth between the Iris moon and the planet. Faces onboard vary from both old and new Moonblessed as well as the local Prismals.

Welcome to Prismatica’s hub, Lunatia, the city of your dreams! A bustling metropolis lush with bright lights, vibrant colors, luxuriant plant life, and all the conveniences of technology absent from your own world… It seems like paradise to all the uninitiated. After a quick tour of the city, new arrivals can find themselves getting cozy in their new homes.

A Settle in your new home at Level 2 to find new roommates and say hello to your neighbors! City officials will give you directions to the designated districts across Level 2 and instruct you to pick out a unit. Each apartment complex has a different aesthetic, some may look cozy, some stylish, and some bizarre. The free accommodations have a basic living space that can only fit two or three people at most in one unit.

Starter Chromaspace furnishings are provided which can be controlled with the touch of a built-in panel. Examples are color-changing curtains, transforming sofa beds, cabinets turning into tables, etc. Customizing your apartment or moving out will have to wait until you earn more chroma. Until then, why don’t you check out your new neighborhood or explore the city levels? Maybe your new roommates or neighbors can give you a “hand” with allowance for dinner.

Oh my god, they're back again. After taking more than a year-long hiatus, *BTSB (Backstay Sailor Boys) takes the planet by storm once more with their latest single, Anybody (Yeah). With an album out and a concert on the way, the five-man fox Prismal group from Amegahara has been busy with promotions. Their appearances on billboard ads, magazines, TV shows, et cetera make their worldwide handsome faces pretty hard to miss! Everyone and their pet robot in Lunatia can be found jamming to their songs, and every teenager on the street can tell you who their bias is and why.

B Be a part of *BTSB's Prismagram campaign and get a chance to win a physical copy of their album and backstage passes to their upcoming concert! Simply take a picture of you and your friends with official merchandise and post it on Prismagram with the hashtag #WeAreBTSB. Be careful, though: touching *BTSB merchandise tends to make people crush on the first face they see. The posts with the best pictures and stories will get their prizes in the mail on the 24th.

Why would a Moonblessed want to meet them, you ask? Community spirit! A sizable portion of the locals will start singing or dancing with you and your friends! “I want it another way. Tell me why? I never want to hear you say, I wish it wasn't that way. Don't be that way!” Play along and they’ll be willing to pardon your unpaid meal tab for one time or offer an incredible discount for one item you really wanted at the mall. The boys are also considered talented magic users in their own right. They might have some spells and magic tools to add to a Moonblessed's arsenal!

▶ What’s the Deal With This Pop Life?

Before you meet these foxy boys, you'll want to do your research on them. Thankfully, their ridiculously huge fanbase (who refer to themselves as NAVY) has already done the work for you.

Suzaku is the leader and the brains of the group. Both his witty, rapid-fire raps and lightning-fast spinning breakdances are known throughout the planet. He is also a newscaster and likes making informative but interesting Prismagram posts. His brother is also an idol, albeit a washed up one-hit wonder.

Kaya is the group's down-to-earth mom friend and soulful vocals. He is the most responsible of the boys and handles their meals and laundry. A former delinquent in his youth, he now spends his free time cooking for schoolchildren and advocating fox rights. He does not support fox pelt products and owns an animal shelter for strays.

Lecter is a dancer who oozes with sex appeal. If not in the studio, he is always hitting up the gym. Once a member of the Little Moonblessings Club in his childhood, he has grown out of his boy-next-door image. Currently, he is #2 on Prismal Magazine's Top 100 Sexiest Men Alive for his well-built frame and photogenic looks. Contrary to his cool appearance and reserved demeanor, he is surprisingly personable. He is also a prolific actor. He likes cats.

Tarn is the baby of the group who maintains a gaming channel. He often does spontaneous livestreams where he does Let’s Play sessions, live Q&As, and encourages people to make memes of his face. He jokes about playing more LmaO than going to practice but he’s got clear and strong vocals.

Rasha is a narcissistic man who can’t get enough of his fans and himself. When hanging around his fans, he tends to ask if they have a mirror to look at himself with. Don’t let his vanity fool you! He’s funny, incredibly easy to be with, and willing to treat people to drinks. He writes most of the lyrics for the group’s songs.

C Every hour, you will receive a text from the official *BTSB fanclub with a link to a poll. The texts will not stop unless you answer the poll. Please answer it ICly, as the answers will affect the event later this month!

Upon voting on the poll, you will be redirected to a video and text chatroom where you will be connected to a random stranger who has also answered the poll. Both you and the stranger will then need to answer the following questions:

Lelouch!? [There's a wave of... relief? Almost. The Knight of Zero has mixed emotions about Lelouch on the best of days, and this is far from that. Still, there's an odd sense of hope(???) when he spots his ~~friend(????????)~~ his Emperor. He bounds over to him with a smile on his face, seemingly as jovial as their best time at Ashford.

Unlike Lelouch, he isn't wearing an Ashford uniform, though. He's actually wearing a BSTB t-shirt and jeans, both of which have his namesake's likeness on them. Do. Not. Ask. In the shopping bag he carries with him lies the regalia of the Knight of Zero, however.]

It's so good to see you! [When he reaches Lelouch, he embraces him in a hug, one that he doesn't really mean at the moment, and just speaks quietly in his ear.] Tell me you have a plan to get us out here.

Suza— [ ku. There it is. Lelouch is pulled into a hug, and his hands fly upwards because why would Suzaku hug him... What a strange thing to be weirdly unreceptive to. They may be friends (have been friends?), but hugging each other just doesn't seem like something they would do! No matter the circumstances!

Unless Nunnally made them— wait, that's not the point here.

He's never given away his identity as Zero to Suzaku, but Suzaku must know and is open about it. Those words, hollow and almost cold, that enter his ear confirm it. But Lelouch, as far as he's concerned, as no idea why Suzaku would be whispering something like that to begin with. Now, he asks himself: What reality is Suzaku from?

Lelouch clears his throat. Even the Chroma from being hugged is minimal... Suzaku is useless to him. When he pulls away, he fixes his collar, a worried and puzzled look in his face. His tone is light, the same way Lelouch Lamperouge would speak. Yet another mask on. ]

... Right. I'm glad to see you too, Suzaku. Although it looks like you're a lot happier to see me. I'm not sure how to get out of here, though?

[He grabs Lelouch's arm and starts pulling him along, away from the crowd. They need somewhere more private to talk. He isn't the most gentle about it either, so unless Lelouch wants to lose an arm, he'll go with him.]

Then you need to hurry and figure something out. Our only hope is that this place is like C's World- [In so much that time passes differently] -otherwise, by the time we get back...

[He doesn't voice it, but the grim expression he wears says it for him. They led the world to the brink of war, and without them there to fight it, it'll be over. Schneizel would have won, Nunnally would be lost to them, everything they've been through, every life that was lost, all of it would have been for nothing, and while the world would still exist, it wouldn't have much of a future.

He tries to wipe that expression off his face as group of girls laugh and squeal about his clothes. He puts on his own mask, but he isn't as well versed as Lelouch. He's fortunate that he's cute, at least, so he can get away with a fake smile and wave like he's just another superfan of this group, before he drops the act and looks at his... looks at Lelouch]

We need to hurry.

[ Lelouch truly does not want to lose his arm. Tens of theories begin to sprout in Lelouch's mind as Suzaku pulls him away from the crowd. It's only when they're in a more private location that he feels his thoughts begin to simmer.

C's World, Suzaku says, and he's momentarily stunned. He knows Suzaku knows of Geass, but how much does he know now? Should he let his guard down? Or should he pretend? This is a rather difficult situation you've put him in, Suzaku Kururugi. ]

Suzaku, [ Lelouch begins, voice firm and commanding. ] You need to calm down. We both have responsibilities to get back to, yours far more complicated than mine, but it's not time to panic.

[ There, bait. He's implying that his own duties are that only of the student council's. Now, if Suzaku truly knows more than Lelouch does, then he'll wait for that information to fall on his lap. ]

[That information won't fall into his lap, so much as be shoved in his face and down his throat. Particularly since they're now somewhere more private, and Suzaku doesn't have to pretend.

His grip on Lelouch's arm tightens, painfully so, almost as if he were going snap it like the twig that it is. He's tempted to toss Lelouch aside but...no. They're in this shit together, all the way until the end.

Doesn't mean he has to like it, though.]

Listen, Your Majesty, [He spits the title out with so much venom that its' clear that he's not being sarcastic for the sake of being sarcastic.] I don't care how the situation has changed, our objective still hasn't! We need to see the Zero Requiem through to the end.

[He finally releases Lelouch, his anger returning to a simmer as he turns away from his... partner in crime.]

I won't let you forget your promise.

[ That's an unfamiliar term, but Lelouch's expression remains stoic. There's no reason to sound carefree anymore, because it doesn't seem like Suzaku is speaking to Lelouch Lamperouge at this time. He's speaking to Lelouch vi Britannia—Your Majesty—he even says... then, is it that in Suzaku's reality, he's gotten rid of his sad excuse of a father?

Now, that's majestic. He would be smiling right about now if it didn't seem like Suzaku would deck him in the nose.

Zero Requiem, though.. that's a term he's unfamiliar with. Is that just a dramatic name for a plan they have—a promise he's made to Suzaku? Or does that actually have anything to do with death in general? Hmm...

He swallows hard once he's let go, eyes narrowing as he looks at Suzaku's back. ]

That's funny coming from someone dressed like a native. [ Suzaku wants it this way? (Pun not intended.) Fine. ] I've only just arrived. You'll need to give me some time to craft a plan.

[ He purposely makes no comment regarding his promise at this time. ]

The Knight of Zero stood out too much. [And Lelouch can imagine what Suzaku had to do in order to blend in. Still, the Knight lets out a breath.] Not that it seems to matter.

Apparently no one here has heard of Britannia, the UFN, or the Black Knights.

[At least the locals that he spoke to seemed to have no clue. He hasn't really dealt with any of the moonblessed, though.]

So you degraded yourself... [ Whatever floats your boat, man. Suzaku, you're a grownass man, you can do whatever you want. 🤷‍♀️ He doesn't tell Suzaku that he's borrowed a locker somewhere and that's where he's keeping Zero's outfit and mask, too. Because as far as he's concerned? ]

And we'll keep it that way. No one here has to know.

[ It'll just be confusing. While Lelouch is devoted to keep lying his way into living, he's also not prepared to handle all sorts of people knowing about Zero and— well, knowing more than he does. He's not fully aware of what Suzaku's reality contains, after all. ]

[Fine, Lelouch, you get that particular jab. Suzaku isn't thrilled, but with limited resources he got along to get along, and got some clothes for cheap for a song and a few dances for Chroma. He'll live.]

As you wish, Your Majesty. [Look, he even gives Lelouch a salute this time, even if his entire body language says all but screams fuck you.]

So what's next?

[ ... Lelouch would wince at that display if he could, but he holds himself still and looks around, instead. He's not sure what else is next, especially after being interrupted from his current mission.

He pulls on his inner shirt from outside his sleeves, adjusting his clothing a little more. Man, Suzaku grips tight. ]

I was going to try and get money for myself. [ He looks back at Suzaku then, a smirk forming on his lips. ] Unless you wanted to help or tag along.

[ Suzaku is bound to say no, at least, Lelouch assumes, so perhaps he'll be left alone and then he can panic by himself... ]

[While Suzaku's first inclination is to reject that offer, he doesn't, instead mulling it over for a bit. After some thought, a smirk starts to appear on his lips.]

You know, I think I'll tag along for a while.

[Because he wants to see how someone so adverse to touch could get some Chroma. He could use the amusement.]

[ One of these days, he's going to STRANGLE Suzaku. You know, once he physically can. ]

Sounds good. [ Totally casual about this, and his tone is light. There's no need to pretend he's Zero now, nor is there any reason for him to. Suzaku seems to know who he is and is open about it, so neither of them aren't pretending... He mentioned he's a (the?) "Knight of Zero", which means Suzaku has deflected, and works with him now. For what? A promise that Lelouch made? Whatever that means...

He'll figure it out later. Suzaku's not very smart, at the very least, Lelouch knows he's more intelligent than the soldier before him, so it shouldn't be that much trouble to get the truth out of him. In any case— ] Don't assume I'm feeding you with the money I make.

[Getting the truth out of Suzaku won't be too hard. They are, for better or worse, on the same side now. It's probably the first time since they've crashed back into each other's lives that they've been honest (mostly) with each other.

Maybe if they had been that way in the beginning, things would've...

No time to dwell on that, though.]

I'll be fine on my own for that. [He starts to head out, but pauses.] Just don't go wasting your Geass.
